Time To Step Up the Power Shift: Legislative Shenanigans Underway on Congressional Energy Bill
During first national youth conference on climate change, with over 5,000 students chanting “We Want More” and “80% by 2050,” Madame Speaker Nancy Pelosi promises to deliver on energy bill and ending the war in Iraq. While those are great promises, we need to make sure she holds up her end of the commitment and doesn’t give in to President Bush and defenders of coal, nuclear, oil, and automotive industries. We are all in this together, and a better future is not only possible, but in the works!
