Man Didn’t Know He Lived Above A Bomb Shelter
W. Scot Simpson has a 1960s-era bomb shelter below his Hassell Place back yard in Charlotte. He’d like to get rid of the poured concrete and steel bunker, but doesn’t know what’s involved in getting rid of it. When he bought the circa 1953 house, he didn’t know it was there.
