A Vision of Hitler as a Hippie Artist
British artists Jake and Dinos Chapman have caused a stir with their latest show. For an exhibition titled ‘If Hitler had been a Hippy How Happy Would We Be’ the brothers purchased thirteen of the young Adolph Hitler’s paintings for 115,000 pounds and defaced them with ‘psychedelic rainbows, stars, and love hearts,’ creating ‘a rumination of what might have been had Hitler not been refused entry to Vienna’s art school.’
