Are You An Anomaly? Can You Fly Out of the Country? Do You Feel the Walls Closing In?
On 24 November 2008, we learned that a 66-year-old retired Canadian born woman was on an international no-fly list when she tried to cash-in on her life’s work and toil by fulfilling her retirement dream of travelling the world.
On November 23, former Congresswoman and presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney was prevented from leaving the United States for Syria, where she had planned to give a speech at a “conference being held to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”
The above two cases are not unique, there have been many among us who have been flagged as undesirables, and as a society, if we continue on our current path, the only people who will be allowed to travel will be the elite. That is what awaits us at the end of this road, irrelevant of how long it takes.
