haha, that's such a cop-out argument. The more co2 the greener, therefore the better?? I'm sorry, but that is NOT sound science. It's the kind of shit clueless right-wingers make up to make themselves sound… intelligent, I think. Global warming is not a fucking hoax made up to destroy global capitalism (though I personally believe capitalism should be dismantled anyway). The VAST MAJORITY of the science shows a clear and certain correlation between greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and global warming. The rise in greenhouse gases and subsequent global warming trends have been instigated by HUMAN output. The sun DOES NOT account for this, the proof lies in the polar caps which are melting at a far more rapid pace than the rest of the planet, if the sun were the culprit then THAT WOULD NOT HAPPEN. When you have an overabundance of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, it tends to uniformly distribute heat around the planet, which affects the poles much more than the equator. Please, stop bullshitting yourself and others just so you can feel better at night about our shitty, unsustainable way of life. The reality is though, we're living unsustainably, which means we're consuming way too many resources and causing way too many environmental imbalances to keep going without destroying ourselves.

“Hannity’s pronouncement goes against the findings of almost every prominent climate scientist.” Sounds alot like Peter Schiff's pronouncements, which went against almost every prominent economist. It amazes me what passes as “expert” these days. Global Warming is a scam. Even if it exists, the SUN would be the culprit! Global Warming is just another trojan horse to destroy the capitalistic way of life for the already discredited socialistic approach. I am all for a clean environment; it is just that I am also for accuracy and truth. Everything gets dumbed down to make it easy to identify with and follow; but it leads to inaccuracies. For instance, reducing Co2 emissions is not “going green”; the more Co2 is in the atmoshphere, the greener the earth becomes!

And trust me man, most of the global warming skepticism has been very aggressively funded and unfairly amplified by very powerful industry backing. Also, most of the global warming skeptics do not study climate enough or at all to make a respected claim on the issue. Also worth noting- there is NO published/peer-reviewed science that disagrees with the basic tenet that global warming is caused by human actions.

I have researched this subject quite a bit. If you have as well and came to a different conclusion,good for you. At least you took the time to look for yourself instead of blindly following someone else. I am not here to convince anyone that I am right. I simply want anyone who is interested in looking into it themselves to realize that there is information out there that contradicts what is popularized these days. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion ,prefferably a well informed one. Dont look to me or anyone else posting here for the “truth”. Do the research and make your own choice.

If you actually were to research this case against Al Gore, you'd realize that the conclusion was that most of the facts in Gore's movie were indeed true and that there really aren't any serious falsehoods except perhaps 2 over-exaggerations (maybe, depending on the science). The truth is that an Inconvenient Truth is still a depressingly accurate telling of climate change, and recent reports show that previous predictions have actually been TOO conservative and climate change is coming more rapidly than ever thought. It's also, without a doubt, man-made. All of the real science points to this.

Ummm…where exactly did I say our emissions have no effect on our planet? In fact I stated that I was for the reduction in emissions/pollution , but for different reasons(i.e. not for global warming issues).Watch the short doc I mentioned above , evaluate the info and make your mind up for yourself. I always do my best to look at ALL available information before making a decision on anything. I refuse to be spoon fed info from the left simply because i have a tendancy to lean that way.

With all respect to Devolutionary, I think it's naive to believe all the emissions we produce as a species has no effect on the planet. From electromagentic waves to industrial waste, the sheer tonnage over months and years certainly has some measurable effect.
