If the music that I hear on the radio is any indicator, and I mean the whole of the radio, even the 'modern rock' stations that sometimes play decent music but are usually reserved to playing dribble like Nickelback and Saving Abel and the lot, then art has been dead for a very long time. I did not even mention the stuff that can be heard on the pop stations, Lady Gaga and such, I guess I just assume that everyone knows that that is garbage. People can surprise you, though. I work with a guy that likes country music, who woulda thought?

I know that the article had nothing to do with music but it all sorta fits in together when you consider that this extremely horrible music, like the ads mentioned above, is shoved down our throats and many people just accept it as reality. People think that this kind of music is normal and representative of the world in which we live and that to me is nothing short of a crime.
