Implants for the purpose of extending the possibilities of consumerism is inherently creepy. It seems the future will continue to define what it means to be human. I'm thankful to still live in an age where it means I can function at a meanigful capacity without “upgrades”.

Sure. Computers have been demonstrated to be totally secure against any sort of hackers, so I would have no problem with opening up my every thought, memory, feeling and so on to publically accessible networks. I have no problem with others being able to create, view, update and delete every aspect of my consciousness. I will write off the brain-blistering migraines caused when my neural link system 'crashes' as part of the exciting experience of new technology. When my heart stops due to a chaotic cascasde started by static from the chip, I will go to heaven happy to have been a martyr to the cause.

This is a very bad idea. Just look at what mother nature does, and realize how inferior our technology is. We have been on this planet for a billion years. We have been dinosaurs! But we all know that our shitty computers are fucked after some 3 years!

I am a cyborg myself. I use digital hearing aids. It's a pain in the ass! I both love and hate them, but let me tell you: I have been warned against this in my dreams for years. I have no choice, because I would have been deaf without them. It's very painful to wear this shitty tech compared to what mother nature does.

I warn you! Do not try to implant this shit into your brains! It's simply so shitty and wrong compared to nature. Raise your hands up! Are you fresh and alive and strong and pure? Do you want low tech machinery into your body? It will always be low tech. It will never be better than the life code itself. The Master of transformations spit at this ugliness. Computers are inferior to human brains. Always will.
