And wouldn't correcting someone's misconception qualify as bringing people the truth? O'Donnell was 100% correct in what she said about Palin's election-bid viewpoint; changing her opinion after the fact was hardly a demonstration of strength or stability.

I don't know if journalistic integrity is the applicable term. Covering something that EVERYONE else is covering does not necessarily constitute journalistic integrity. Journalistic integrity is bringing people the truth, unfettered, unrestrained, unafraid of consequences.

I understand that people feel a personal connection to Sarah Palin. Alot of people also feel a personal connection to the people on 'The Biggest Loser'. The people who support Palin need to check themselves. First of all she's a quitter. That may not be an issue for them but it's something that is serious. If she doesn't have the spirit of service in her then why bother? And upholding the constitution? She's made it pretty clear in her interviews and her speeches that she's all rhetoric and very little substance. Her recent attempts to discredit Obama and Biden's experience is pathetic as it is laughable. She's driven but she has no idea where she's going and there's no way I'm getting into that car. I think the main reason people like Palin is because she's a nice shiny object and this country loves us our celebutards.
