I don't make a big deal about it, or even normally tell anyone, but I've bought several prosthesis legs (whole and half) from behind the safety of my PC, for children who've had theirs blown off. I'm not here to rant on about altruism, however you can do the same, if you wish. The whole legs are only 100.00 and one's from the knee down are only 50.00. It wasn't my intent to categorize all soldiers as evil. My comments were aimed solely at anyone, soldier or not, from our country, or another, that “fights” their battles in such am indiscriminant and cowardly fashion. If this isn't you, then please accept my sincerest apology for offending you in any way. My grandfather fought in WWI and my father in WWII. I have the utmost respect for ALL the fallen (and wounded) heros who fought for the freedoms I enjoy today.

you need a good dose of reality. while i DO NOT advocate the use of landmines, lets keep things in perspective here. what would you call a jihadi who blows up a school bus? a hero? but someone who wears a uniform a coward?

as a veteran and as a close family member of a COMBAT veteran, i know things are a lot different when you are constantly under the barrel of a gun.

so fuck me? get out from behind the safety of your PC and enlist. then replace your belief with actual knowledge. then feel free to post inflammatory comments about the people who volunteer to go into harm's way so you can grow fat, lazy, complacent, and totally ignorant of the real world.

As dangerous as firing Cruise missiles at baby formula factories? I am not a big fan of missiles but if you feel the need to fire one, the least you can do is make sure your fucking intel is correct. Cowards? Maybe, maybe not. But definitely some degree of sadist.

These things kill innocent children. Those “lucky” few who survive, are horribly maimed, missing limbs, and in dire pain. The cowards who set and bury them would not want me to get hold of them. Support our troops?? Fuck them!
