I agree. The horrible nudge-wink dialouge and lack of any real science fiction beyond the setting killed it for me.

This Star Trek movie wasn't worth buying on DVD. I Like Star Trek, but this movie was horrible.
It was more like Star Trek: 90210.
It would have sold better as a spoof. Major Suckage.
