Um, someone might want to point out to somebody that he's just past his first year.

And I point out...it was "Yes We Can." Not "Yes I Can." If the American people will not get behind those things that Obama wanted to change and fix, then they can't get done. We let Bush invade Iraq and wipe his butt with the Constitution and we let the Republicans let the financial sector do what they want, etc etc etc because we had other things to do. Getting proactive about change doesn't seem likely even if it is actually possible...which this present age doesn't seem to allow. Like the idea that the Supercollider is sabotaging itself from the future, we are in a period of transition where the old power of Christendom is being left out in favor of a more universal human understanding. Globalization and the eroding of these entrenched power systems and the anger at losing their influence is why the Right is so entrenched and we have the Tea Party, a group of uninformed, misinformed conservatives that demonstrate just how controlled the minds of some Americans are to an ideal that is different that the actual documents this country was founded on.

Obama is up against the forces of chaos as much as he is against the misinformation and lies and ideology of the Conservatives who got us in this mess and yet somehow still have people who listen to them. The recent Mass Senate election demonstrates that Americans are somehow doomed to vote against their own interests. We're in for a few more decades until we're ready to give the world a Coke and keep it company.

This website is very very slanted in favor of Obama. If you read many of the campaign promises he allegedly kept, such as getting us out of Iraq or no permanent bases, then you see that this website is as full of bull**** as he is. Their pulitzer prize is as unwarranted as Obama's Nobel.
