when i heard this on the news i felt sad/dissapointed and on hearing the details was sickened..
people want to have some kind of hope for a better future - a fair, just or completed trial might have given that. people want to know the end is in sight.. the withdrawal? when will the mistakes of the Bush era end?

First of all, the US has used private contractors for many years. That is a proven fact… Second; if it’s going to take private contractors to get rid of the terrorists, then GO FOR IT… I know quite a few people that have served in the US Military overseas in conflicts from Vietnam to Iraq. And one thing that is common story between all of them. Is that civilians as well as terrorists are attacking our troops. In most cases you don’t really know who is who. As sad as it is, Men, Women, Children, and even Animals have been and are being used to attack our troops… People this is a war, what part of that do you not understand. Oh Boo Hoo Hoo, terrorists are dying. For everyone that is crying about it. Think about what has happened to Innocent Citizens all over the world that have been and are being attacked by Terrorists. What about 9/11, did you forget about that…? Every time you shed a tear for a dead terrorist, you’re spitting in the face of those who lost their lives on that horrible day and those who are fighting for your freedom while you’re sitting in your lazy boy with your box of tissues… With all that being said, our troops should get any and all support from everyone… Even if you don’t like the war, the reality is its happening…

The problem with this argument is that no amount of blackwater "contractors" or soldiers is going to get rid of terrorists. You get rid of terrorism by eliminating its causes: war, poverty, lack of education, etc etc

Maybe if we sent doctors and teachers there instead of troops we could do some good. I mean it doesn't take a genius to figure out that sending over your young men and women with guns to kill the men, women, and children of another country is a really bad idea. The problem is that it makes some people a ton of money, and other people like you believe their propaganda.

We have sent over doctors, teachers, preachers. etc etc... Honestly my personal thoughts are we shouldn't be over there to begin with... Yes we should have went over killed osama and the others that created 9/11... If you want to but the blame on someone, you should put it on the politics that are in our offices... Yes we should get rid of poverty, and yes teachers should get paid a hell of a lot more then they do... Yes there are a lot of problems in the USA, and honestly we should be worried about us first. Believing propaganda has nothing to do with it... I believe My pops, and a couple close friends that have been in war... I believe what they have told me. Not whats on the news and especially not what our government tells us... I am going to end this with a saying that I believe is true... I love my country, But fear my government... Now what everyone else thinks, that's up to you... at least for now we are still somewhat free to say how we feel... Oh and just to end the thought before you say it... No I didn't vote for our bleeding heart president or his competitor. Not even in the last election. I voted for myself... and until we actually get someone in office that the people choose, and that will fight for what the people want... I will do the same every election... The real problem is that unless you have the money, or the electorial vote. its never going to change...

There had to be some excuse to let them off because they were promised immunity by the Bush Administration when they went in. The best we can do is learn from our mistakes and do away with privately operated death squads before they start opening fire on Americans.
