Apropos of nothing, here’s a photo from New York Social Diary of young Dick Cheney taking a bumper car for a spin in 1976. Perhaps an omen of what was to come when this man would receive greater power.

    When I was in the service, (late 80's,) Dick Cheney was in the chain of command I was forced to memorize, and a bunch of articles about him appeared in the Navy Times. I liked him then, he was always fighting on behalf of servicemembers, or so I was led to believe. Since then, I have lost all respect I may have had for him. That “So what” comment when the reporter told him the majority of Americans didn't like what he was doing, made me want to terminate him with extreme prejudice. Just goes to show how power corrupts…

    “So what”? That shows that this man is totally uncaring about the office he was elected to serve and is only interested in filling his own pockets and advancing his personal agenda. He and the rest of the Bush criminals deserve to be in a “rendition” prison in Turkey for the rest of their lives.
