I asked one girl where she was going to college. She looked at me as though I were stupid and pointed out that all her brothers are in jail and all her sisters have may children. I tried to politely suggest she avoid doing either, but she definitely seemed to see it as a foregone conclusion. <br><br>Yes, this is slavery. I work with a minority school age population.
