I remember when the Bishop came, all the faculty and students fawning over him, the robes, etc. the guy lapped it up, acted so entitled, kind of Mussoliniesque vibe, I thought to myself, and still do, that its no wonder fascism started in Italy. It seems almost too beautiful for words, and so bittersweet that they are too corrupt to ever consider it.
