    The reason why they jack the price that high, isnt because of the lame excuses they gave, its one of the many techniques used to maintain or reach their desired % of growth for the stock holders of these facilities. And the insurance company's approve without question because they are prolly getting a some of the money pie, either by using the increased bills, to charge to medicare, ect.

    And dont think this sounds to ridiculous remember those hospitals that paid homeless people a little cash, food, free lodging for days at a time, so they can make up bills with treatments that were not preformed, or sickness that was never there, to be paid by medicare.
