One little problem…although the vid is interesting…the current situation: the trip to India, is quite different from your description. The info you deliver is based on Glenn Beck and Fox which was drawn from the Drudge report which was sourced from an unknown Indian official…all of the numbers involved are unsubstantiated…and some, including the 200 million dollar a day expense claim, are impossible. (The current cost of the entire deployment in Afghanistan is 190 mil a day…thus, the presidents junket…even if all the claims regarding personnel were true, still couldn’t meet that total.) The current fleet has no orders to move, and the number of personnel involved in the trip are infinitely fewer…

…so to answer your question at the top…even after the trip is over, what you propose will still never have happened.

Be careful guys, the news has been sowing the seeds that this could happen- have you noticed all the news reports of “suspicious packages” being found on all kinds of airplanes lately. Do a cursory glance of the NYT, you should find one pretty quick.

My point is these are like the equivalent of memos saying Bin Laden is determined to attack US. All I know is I have a bad feeling…

Key words from the article…”and there are even reports”…not a confirmation…and given that the Pentagon already mentioned that it had no intention of moving such a large percentage of the US fleet because of a trade mission…I’d say every part of this is inflated far out of touch with reality. Its also not impossible that the Daily Mail…which isn’t known for its immunity to sensationalism, may also be subject to a little spin from dodgy sources.

Really? The Simpsons? The trip by POTUS is exactly what it’s meant to be. A gigantic middle finger to all terrorists in the region.

Yeah – and that entire report has been directly refuted by the Pentagon, including specifically the 34 warships.

What you’re reading from is LITERAL disinformation – classic planted rumor that is completely false, but designed to spread as gossip for purposes of making someone look bad. In this case, President Obama.

And this slant is intended to create two implications:

1) President Obama is a budget-busting profligate spender with a huge entourage he’s entertaining on the taxpayer’s dime
2) more subtly, that he is using massive military personnel for his own whims i.e. he’s a tyrant waiting to use force against his enemies.

Can we not just believe stuff because we read it on the Internet? Can we please look into things a little deeper than that? Thanks.

Now when nothing happens, the guy who made this can take credit for foiling a false-flag nuclear attack, since it’s obvious the only reason it didn’t happen is because the “powers that be called it off,” because so many of us were clued in by this brilliant, prognostic video. Thats one of the great pains of netspeak…there is no adequate way to communicate mood here. I found his comment funny and an accurate description of the state of mind of paranoid weenies who fall the same old tricks every time.
