Alex Jones Defends Charlie Sheen on ‘The View’ (Video)

Posted by Join Or DIE on February 28, 2011

Alex Jones On 'The View'My freakin’ head just exploded: Alex Jones is sitting at a table with Barbara Walters. Here’s a clip below. Via TV Squad:

Alex Jones, the host of the radio show on which Charlie Sheen raged last week, vehemently defended the Two and Half Men star on The View arguing that Sheen is a recovering addict who’s being harassed and portrayed poorly by CBS, Chuck Lorre and the media.

“I just think that he’s somebody going through a hard time who got clean,” said Jones. “It’s wrong from them to be prodding him and demonizing him and trying to make him blow up. That’s actually what I believe’s going on here … Charlie’s tired of being held up like the devil.”

But, the discussion quickly goes off-topic as Jones relentlessly hypes his website and simultaneously rails against the TSA, financial institutions that are “bankrupting” the country and George W. Bush. Eventually, an exasperated Barbara Walters brings the segment to a close while Jones talks over her.

If there is a god, PLEASE let Richard Simmons get a talk show so Alex Jones can be on it. Sure, it would be like taking 5,000 hits of acid but you only live once.

Thank you Mitt. Yes a lot of folks talk shit about rather than do the work of speaking out and organizing to preserve liberty. Thank god that some people are more than just talk and keyboard warriors.

  • Nano_Thermite_911

    YES! DAMNNNNNNNN!!!! GREAT RESPONSE!

So Chaorder Gradient, What about Building 7? If nothing else don’t you think creating an opportunity for this crucial meme to dispersed isn’t admirable? Say what you will of someone’s personality. The work Alex has done for freedom is tremendous.

I would be inclined to want to see the research and data backing up that $1500 number, which does sound plucked out of the air. That said, the “real” unemployment rate in America, which takes into account not just people receiving unemployment and those actively looking for work, but a host of other factors (ex: people who have given up looking for work, people who work part time jobs that haven’t found full time jobs) is 22%. There are in fact, more than 40 million Americans on food stamps (http://www.reuters.com/article/2010/05/07/us-food-usa-stamps-idUSTRE6465E220100507) and plenty of jobs in America have been outsourced.

The problem with people like Alex Jones is that they take things like that that are legitimate crises that have complicated causes and even more complex solutions and find outrageous explanations for them, that usually point to one sort of shadow conspiracy. This invalidates the things that are actual facts and keeps people focused on the completely crazy parts of the story, rather than the legitimate problems. Was David Rockafeller hiding in the Legion of Doom somewhere stroking a cat while plotting to outsource all of America’s jobs? No. Did the mindset of a corporation putting profits for CEO’s and shareholders before the welfare of its workers and the consumers of its products increase the amount of outsourcing of American jobs? Absolutely. Did that outsourcing play a direct effect in the downward economic spiral? Indeed it did. Have Americans been stuck in an ideological “left versus right” mindset for more than two decades? Gridlock in government caused by increased partisanship behavior would suggest yes.

But that’s just not as sexy as believing the lizard people are doing funky things to the soil in Stuart’s trailer park. Point is, just because someone decides to do crazy things and sensationalize real problems for their own benefit doesn’t mean that the problems don’t exist.

I can’t figure out which I find more repellent and asinine… Alex Jones, or the cast of “The View”. Somebody flip a coin for me, as I’ve lost interest.

  • enki

Because he isn’t. Charlie is the only person involved that actually “gets it”. He is opposed to greedy parasites, opposed to feeling sorry for himself, LIVES his life without guilt of sin and dogma, and enjoys it. Maybe people that are held back with their own stupid sense of social morality and suck the dong of the almighty dollar are the ones that are “obviously mentally ill”. Did you ever think of that?

Of course I’m not so thick as to think what happened on 9/11 wasn’t extremely suspicious; I suppose I will concede that his intentions seem pure.

I some times find it difficult for myself to believe that people need guys like Alex Jones to yell at them the obvious over and over and over for it to wake them up. However thats the idealist in me, deep down I know people are really deeply sleeping and need to be shaken rigorously. In all honesty if just 5 clucking chickens that are regular viewers of The View, start visiting his website, and start watching his material, I would consider it bittersweet.

Its the old teach a man to fish saying; but in this case, if you teach a man to think, rather than simply giving them a thought, they can start teaching others. Alex Jones, sits on his fish cart throwing tons of fish all over the place for anyone to pick up, sometimes the fish might be rotting, but a good number of the people get a good meal.

The problem with using personal anecdotes online is that there is absolutely no reason for anyone to believe them. I’m inclined to give you the benefit of the doubt just ’cause I’m a nice guy, but it seems rescue workers would have known that their orders to pull out of building seven were given because everyone knew the building was about to fall to pieces just by looking at the enormous hole in the wall from the debris that severed the main support column coupled with the raging, unfought fires…

  • Tuna Ghost

What about building 7? As eyewitnesses report, a huge fucking hole was knocked in the building by debris, severing the main support column. That, combined with unfought fires on several floors caused the building to collapse. There is ample evidence for this, along with eyewitness testimony from rescue workers at the scene. Would you like to see it? All you have to do is ask, and I will provide.

Those buildings fell because some assholes flew a fucking plane into them. The questions you should be asking are “why was this allowed to happen” and “who knew about it and did nothing”, not ramblind about nano-thermite.

So which column was it that was severed again? You’re referring to column 79 right? 1 of 80 support columns. So please explain to me how one column potentially being severed would cause have caused the other 79 columns to fail simultaneously and thus the first 2.25+- of free fall to occur at the beginning of the collapse.

As for “ramblind” about Nano Thermite. Yeah I guess I should stop talking about conclusive evidence of explosives having been used to take down all three towers.
Peer reviewed internationally at that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oei9Ky0GvNk

So Tuna Ghost when else but 9/11 have random asymmetrically scattered fires managed to cause a total structural failure in a steel framed building?
This would require the severing of 400 support columns that were bolted and welded per floor per second to achieve what is obviously a controlled demolition.

Thanks for your advice but I must insist upon talking about Nano Thermite and Building 7. They are smoking gun evidence of the need for a real investigation after all.

  • Tuna Ghost

First: no building fell at free-fall on 9/11.

Second: Since you asked, and few people do…

    http://www.structuremag.org/Archives/2007-11/SF-WTC7-Gilsanz-Nov07.pdf

Compete with pictures and diagrams and simplified explanations about the physics of it all.

And your “internationally peer-reviewed” paper showing “conclusive proof” is not and did not. It was published without the editor’s knowledge, who promptly resigned after learning it was published as it was gargabe that didn’t belong in a journal of chemistry. Even the article itself doesn’t come to any strong conclusions, and admits that perhaps the samples (taken from buildings and people’s homes SIX YEARS after the towers fell) may have been tainted. Yeah, perhaps, as they were not handled with any care and were sitting around for six years all over Manhattan. Perhaps.

From a tranlated article found on a Danish science news service, the full extent of which can be found here ( http://ronmossad.blogspot.com/2009/05/game-over.html ):

They have printed the article without my permission, so when you wrote to me, I did not know that the article had appeared. I cannot accept this, and therefore I have written to Bentham that I resign from all activities with them”, explains Marie Paule Pileni, who is professor with a specialty in nanomaterials at the renowned Universite Pierre et Marie Curie in France.

    …and, even better…

“I cannot accept that this topic is published in my journal. The article has nothing to do with physical chemistry or chemical physics, and I could well believe that there is a political viewpoint behind its publication. If anyone had asked me, I would say that the article should never have been published in this journal. Period.” Concludes the former editor in chief.

So, yeah. I have plenty more if you like. Eyewitness testimony about the enormous hole in building 7, about the fires, about how they were watching it sway and creak and then fall down, etc.

I knew this was going to happen. Every world is colliding right now. When Koch Industries was exposed, Alex Jones was exposed too. NPR is being threatening. Everything is coming into place.
