I love how Alex Jones doesnt know how to turn it off. It being the whole radio-personality thing. It has consumed him and now he is nothing but a shell with a loud speaker that says “police state, info war, prison planet” over and over and over with no substance behind the chants.

I only wish Alex Jones punched that redneck Hasselbeck in her stupid, plastic face. The rest of those fossils on the view are too pathetic and washed up to even justify a beatdown. If you think there is no substance behind his information – listen to the most offensive, outlandish things you can find about him and prove it wrong. I tried to, and it opened my eyes – at first I was as if there was NO WAY what this guy is saying is true – I used to watch him in Austin around ‘97 on public access, thinking he was a total kook. Then I thought, it should be easy to dismiss this stuff, there’s no evidence behind it. I found I was very very wrong and unless you have no ability to research yourself, you will also find that there is far more truth than will ever be aired on national TV. Kill your TV.

The view is far from reputible and appeals to the least common denomination of american society. The fact of the matter is, our actual unemployment rate is 22 %, and we have over 44 million Americans recieving foodstamps. These peo…ple lost jobs, or are underemployed. We owe 1,500 trillion total in debt to foriegn entities, and the middle east in turmoil. What is happening is the destruction of the global economy through the creation of the most dangerious fiscal insturments ever created. The final derrivitives bubble is about to burst. Wake up and get out of your general mallaise. America has factually been deindustrialized as our jobs and industries have been outsourced because of regulations by the federal government. Did you know,that when you call a support center in india for tech support, the computer companies recieve a tax credit? We have just been through three presidents that have done more harm to our nation. When President Clinton was in office, he pushed congress to repeal the glass-stiegal act, a firewall created by congress years ago to seperate banking and securities. This created the trading in durriviatives.

Break out of the false left versus right paradigm and wake up. The ends justifies the means to the people who were behind this, and the political class that the elite employee are playing the game. David Rockerfeller, one of America largest enemies pushed for this. I myself was a ground zero rescue worker from 9/11 and know the facts. Wow, Alex Jones, king of alternative media, finally stepping into the mainstream by an issue that he (supposedly) vehemently opposes in his advocacy against tyranny and awareness: celebrity idolatry.

Sounds like he is finally being undermined by the corporate elite. If he was Charlie’s true friend, he wouldn’t ride the crest of the Sheen fiasco. He would keep it a private matter.

Because he’s rich and (in)famous. Therefore, he’s merely eccentric.

The biggest problem with Jones is that he doesn’t understand the difference between fascism and socialism, and he treats these as synonymous rather than opposites. I think this is what happens when there is a failure to consider social class as a key variable in understanding social problems.

This used to annoy me to no end when I listened to Jones before. The problem here is partly in Alex and partly in the evolution of language in America. Today, words like ‘democracy’, ‘fascism’, ’socialism’, ‘communism’, ‘freedom’, ‘free markets’, ‘Christianity’, ‘constitution’ and so on, are completely corrupted. You and I can use those words in one sense, while others use them in another sense. Personally I avoid these words; but they are too potent for a propagandist, which is what Alex is, to ignore.

What matters is that Alex opposes war and tyranny, be it corporate or state. That’s what we need to fight. We can figure out the rest later.
