Charles Manson Breaks Silence: Discussing President Obama, Global Warming And His Followers

After twenty years of silence Charles Manson speaks … about the environment. Discussing topics such as President Obama and Wall Street, he emphasizes his concerns for global warming. Manson has gathered yet another group of followers, this time agreeing with his thoughts towards saving the environment, our ‘one world.’ ABC News reports:

    Although Charles Manson is comfortably filed under “freak” in my brain, I am still intrigued by the things he says and the way he sees things. While many dismiss his rantings as nonsense, I understand a lot of what he says. The devil and god, good and evil stuff makes perfect sense to me. There is a wisdom to Charles Manson. He may have been a murderer, but one doesn’t lose all credibility just because they commit a crime. Its like the “shocking” saying “What about all the good things Hitler did?” that I’ve seen on t-shirts. There is something to that. Man and man’s deeds aren’t in black in white but shades of gray.

    People who display some sort of admiration for Manson are helpful in allowing us to see the sort of folks that Manson originally attracted. Having said that, at least he makes more sense than Charlie Sheen.

    Don’t ask me. Ask the people who translated their interest into admiration, because they certainly exist. I can understand being interested in the True Crime aspect of all this and the cultural ugly-side-of-Woodstock aspect. I suppose I even understand the “Oh, look how evil I am. I’m wearing a Manson t-shirt. Mommy will be so mad.” aspect. But Manson as some sort of pundit or prophet? Seriously, if folks think this guy is profound, I can direct them to several local homeless shelters where they will find similar profundity.

The man has been in captivity for 63 years of his life and the prime time of his freedom just happened to be during the 60’s counter culture.     The only reason why people are interested in what he has to say is out of the morbid curiosity he generates as a mass murderer. So now the mass murderer starts talking about the environment and everybody is fascinated all of a sudden. There are a lot of people who have quite a bit more to say about the environment and what to do about it than he does: people who have actually studied and worked in the field for decades. But I guess because they are just regular folks, it’s not as entertaining.

    Charles Manson never committed or ordered any of the crimes he was convicted for. One of the reasons he did not receive a fair trial was the pre-trial media exploration that convicted him before he even gotten in a courtroom. Just as now: the media is changing Charlie’s statements out of context to attracted more readers.     Truthfully, what is charsimatic about this black heart Manson? He himself didn’t kill anyone did he? He got others to do the dirty work. I think people admire his intelligence and loony Jack Nicholson-like swagger.

    Something about this guy just sucks people in. His whole criminal history is based on praying on and manipulating the weak minded. Had he been born into another situation -he could easily be the next Hitler.

    Sometimes I wonder if minds like his have reached a certain lone peak of enlightenment, free of ordinary constraints -yet somehow devoid of key elements of awareness, compassion, etc. thus culminating in a monster like Manson, the demon Guru.
