    These people are ’special’ only because of obscene wealth, generations of inbreeding and self-declared nobility… A necessity of the past, perhaps, the monarchy is an embarrassment for modern Britain.

    True, true… but I’d have to give him some credit for actually doing something for his fame. The show “Seinfeld” was succesful because of the entire cast’s contributions including Jerry’s, He alone could not carry that show….THAT’S why he doesnt do movies, he got lucky and had a great cast in Seinfeld that fit together well. Its a sttuation he’d be real lucky to find again….

    Lets all pretend that Jerry is not a pretentious asshole. Did you see him on Larry King? Jerry was the most boring character on the show. If not for Larry David and the rest, you would be picken bottles Mr.Seinfeld.

    It was funny to me that he claimed that America has nothing like it. Witness Kennedy fixation, or the disproportionate coverage Chelsea Clinton’s wedding received.

    At least you people in the US aren’t having to basically pay for this as well … Britain still thinks it has an Empire, so all those countries in the “commonwealth” that they reckon is of benefit still are sending tax-payer funded gifts to that lot of inbreds … it’s basically another robbing mission by the ex-Imperialists…

    After watching today’s Wedding with all its tradition, pomp & circumstance and a peoples’ celebration, Jerry might take note that today was a show about SOMETHING – while his, as he oft acknowledged, was a show about NOTHING. Now let us all consider who’s really pretending…….?
