Who better to have one faked than the pigeon that has been groomed for the job since he was at uni?     This isn’t intended to address the “Birthers”; it’s intended to stoke up the Democratic base.

    Nobody with two active brain cells to rub together doubts that the man was born in the U.S.A. However, many people, with good reason, doubt that Obama has any credibility, after half a term that served as a great big “Fuck You” to all the activists who helped get him elected. Outright lies about Afghanistan, Iraq, Guantanamo, the PATRIOT Act, tax policy, DODT, etc., etc. mean that Obama’s only hope of capturing the nomination for 2012 is to whip up the Right Wing into such an embarrassing frenzy of xenophobic racism that the “Left” are unlikely to pay much attention to Obama’s own complete inadequacy.

    The sham-like “cleverness” of transparent PR moves like this are, apparently, the only thing that keep Obama from hanging himself in abject shame for betraying the American people.

    Compounding the tragicomedy is the fact that the rival gang of whores competing for the winner’s share of the bribe money can’t challenge him on issues that matter… Afghanistan, Iraq, Guantanamo, the PATRIOT Act, tax policy, DODT, NOMA, ENDT, etc. They cannot honestly claim that policy differences exist anymore; this is all they have left. The race card is all the Republicans have with which to distinguish themselves from today’s conservative Democrats.

    Yes, you listed you actual important things that he cared about. I may be idealizing Mr. Hicks, but I’d expect him focusing on more important things such as the illegal wars, and I’d think he would be smart enough to see through the Alex Jones facade.

    I really don’t think of him as someone who tries to use a consitutionalist argument attempting to impeach the president on whether or not he was actually born on an island included in the United States.

    The specific origins of Obama don’t matter, he’s another handled candidate created to push other people’s policies, which the US citizens did not vote for. As long as republicans and democrats continue to be elected mindlessly, the same results will happen.

    Using Hick’s name implying that he would get caught up in the stupid is insulting.

    No, they’d never forge something like this because there’d be no reason to. The powers that be find the Imperial Presidency too useful in taking away Americans’ rights, and they would never jeopardize it by installing a non-citizen in the office. There are plenty of native-born African-Americans like Obama who can talk progressive while walking plutocratic, why would they ever choose someone from Kenya? They wouldn’t, and there’s no evidence they did.

    And the Smoking Gun article they link to: “David A. Sinclair, the M.D. who purportedly signed the document, died nearly eight years ago at age 81. So he is conveniently unavailable to answer questions about Obama’s reported birth.” The fact that the guy didn’t make it to 89 is fishy? And the registrar’s real name is supposed to be “Ukulele?” Please. I think the Smoking Gun is having fun and Infowars fell for it.

    Of course, you’re right … it’s a very useful office to TPTB. And I furthermore agree (for the record) that there’s a whole shopping bill of reasons to find fault with Obama that have absolutely nothing to do with his country of birth. And I ALSO agree that this smells like a big wet mackerel of a media distraction. All that said, a forgery would be child’s play, and as to why? Only reason I can think of (and it’s a stretch) is to eliminate the ‘must be a natural-born citizen’ requirement … although as you point out, there’s no difficulty in finding globalist stooges who meet that already. So yeah, this is a sideshow (I mean, the ‘it’s a forgery’ retort was obvious … no birther was or can be convinced by this. Non-birthers don’t need to be convinced. Which you’d think they’d realize. And certainly do. Hence: it’s a deliberate side-show.)

    Mostly true…but if he watched the Alex Jones show for awhile…he’d also probably notice that after a decade of bird flu and swine flu and vaccines…we’re all still here…not buried in mass graves…and call bullshit on it. What I loved about Hicks was that he was a two edged sword…it cut both ways, no survivors, no sacred cows, no limits or boundaries. His skepticism was a weapon he tried to share, and if Hicks and Jones have one key difference…one was making money by making you laugh and hopefully dream of better…and the other is making money selling fear and nightmares of worse to come. Do you see the world through the ‘eyes of fear’…or through the ‘eyes of love’? If its the latter, you’re with Hicks…if its the former…its Jones.
