Dutch Researcher Creates A Super-Influenza Virus With The Potential To Kill Half the World’s Population

A Dutch researcher has created a virus with the potential to kill half of the planet’s population. Now, researchers and experts in bioterrorism debate whether it is a good idea to publish the virus creation ”recipe”. However, several voices argue that such research should have not happened in the first place.

The virus is a strain of avian influenza H5N1 genetically modified to be extremely contagious. It was created by researcher Ron Fouchier of the Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam, Netherlands. The work was first presented at a conference dedicated to influenza, that took place in September in Malta.

Avian influenza emerged in Asia about 10 years ago. Since then there were fewer than 600 infection cases reported in humans. On the other hand, Fouchier’s genetically modified strain is extremely contagious and dangerous, killing about 50% of infected patients. The former strain did not represent a global threat, as transmission from human to human is rare. Or, at least, it was before Fouchier genetically modified it.

    I would be totally cool with cutting our population in half (or more) with a deadly disease.  It would only benefit the species and the planet in the long-term.  It’s better than a global nuclear war, which I still welcome.

Social planning in place of battle field strategies, organized birth control measures, humane theorems of sustainable survival over annihilations,  genocide, and mayhem?
    Will Americans pervert this into a tool of war? Genocidal sprayings of enemies? By troops well immune, vaccinated? Is this a solution or just the continuation of mankinds quest to extort from others, steal the products of the creative the working classes the poor, the down-trodden by the self appointed elitists?
    Christ never imagined such a world. He never mentioned the nuclear bombs, or this new influenza – Revelations speaks of horrendous end times. Will this and other diseases such as E-Bola, now stored in Bio-labs all over the world, be released in the final turmoil? Soon? By the Uber-Rich Elites?
    Can we look to the Rising Pan Eurasian Empire for a few more peaceful decades?Can we look to the ‘Controlled Demolition” of the U.S. Dollar by Asian financiers as a step towards world Peace? Will the consumption of 70% of the worlds resources by the U.S. mark a time of plenty for others? Some believe this is so. If they are wrong, only bad can follow.
