New York, NY: The government's recent admissions concerning its foreknowledge of the September 11 terrorist attacks are front-page news, but The Disinformation Company's book "Everything You Know Is Wrong: The Disinformation Guide to Secrets and Lies", was there first. And it was there better: It contains revelations still ignored or forgotten by the big media.

"Suddenly, it's become respectable to ask how much the government knew ahead of the attacks," says the book's editor, Russ Kick. "It's on the front page of the New York Times and the Washington Post. It's at the top of the news on CNN. It even made the covers of the current Time and Newsweek, with Newsweek daring to ask: 'Did September 11 have to happen?' Well, we were asking the hard questions when it wasn't respectable."

The anthology "Everything You Know Is Wrong" contains a 16-page, 13,000-word article that offers lots of compelling facts that strongly indicate that the government knew what was coming. Completed in January, "September 11, 2001: No Surprise," by editor Russ Kick, contains over 50 pieces of evidence drawn from government reports and mainstream news reports both in the US and abroad.

Among the most important evidence:

· San Francisco's mayor was scheduled to fly to New York on the morning of Sept. 11, but he was warned not to go. He refuses to specify who gave him the warning.· After the 1993 WTC bombers were arrested, Osama bin Laden issued a statement that the second attempt would be successful.

· The German newsweekly Focus reports that the CIA had lead hijacker Mohamed Atta under surveillance in 2000.

· Despite the official claim that Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda used encrypted phones, numerous reports have surfaced of intelligence agencies intercepting their communications right before 9/11, on the fateful day itself, and the day after.

· The FBI and the New York Police Department confirmed to the media that an "overwhelming" number of Muslims in New York City had foreknowledge of the attack.

· In August 2001, Israel warned US intelligence of imminent "terrorist attacks on highly visible targets on the American mainland."

· German intelligence says that the US knew of the plans for attack several months in advance, thanks to Echelon, the global electronic eavesdropping system.

· Jerry Bremer, a former State Department terrorism expert, told the Boston Globe: "We all predicted this. We had strategic warning. This is not something the analysts missed."

· The most damning evidence of all comes from an on-the-scene bulletin from National Public Radio on the morning of September 11. Congressional correspondent David Welna was reporting from the Capitol building as it was being evacuated: "I spoke with Congressman Ike Skelton--a Democrat from Missouri and a member of the Armed Services Committee--who said that just recently the Director of the CIA warned that there could be an attack--an imminent attack--on the United States of this nature. So this is not entirely unexpected."

There are dozens more of these facts in the article. "What's so inexplicable is that 99% of the evidence I present comes from the mainstream press," says Kick. "Especially in the days immediately after the attacks, CNN, MSNBC, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and others reported numerous individual clues. But now, they almost never mention their own reporting. It's like they've forgotten about it. The foreign press, especially in Britain--the BBC, the Times of London, etc.--reported a lot of important things that never even made it into the US media. All I've done is gather all of this far-flung public knowledge into one document. Seeing it all in once place is very powerful."

Why are officials allowed to say they didn't know? Why aren't all these facts thrown in their faces? "I don’t know," Kick replies. "That would call for speculation, but what I know for certain is that they are getting away with it to a very large degree. Thanks to the media, the White House has recently had to acknowledge that, yes, it was warned that al Qaeda planned to hijack planes. But then Bush, Condoleezza Rice, and others have the gall to say that there's no way they could've imagined that hijacked planes would be used as weapons. The Associated Press has recently dug up a 1999 government report that mentioned just such a scenario, but my article shows several other official reports and experts who were predicting this as far back as 1993. I also reveal five cases in the 1990s when attackers did try to use planes as weapons."

What about government claims that they thought the attacks would be against American interests overseas? They say they couldn't have foreseen attacks on the US homeland. Kick says, "That's patent nonsense, and anyone saying it is a liar. On the CIA's own Website I found a speech that CIA Director George Tenet gave in 2000. He said that 'the continental United States--and not just our embassies and forces abroad--is itself susceptible to attack.' There are other quotes like that, but that's my favorite."

"Everything You Know Is Wrong" is the first US book to reveal what the mainstream media is now saying, and to go well beyond it. Fully documented with approximately 100 references, it's the definitive indictment of a government that knew what was coming but, for unknown reasons, didn't prevent it.

"Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris weren't the only gunmen," says Russ Kick, editor of Everything You Know Is Wrong: The Disinformation Guide to Secrets and Lies (The Disinformation Company, 2002)

On April 20, 1999, the worst school shooting in American history occurred at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. In the end, twelve students, one teacher, and two gunmen lay dead. Though early news reports quoted eyewitnesses talking about more than two gunmen, we were soon told that the massacre was perpetrated by only two individuals--students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.

In November of 2000, Jefferson County (Colorado) released 11,000 pages of raw documents relating to the investigation. The release was covered by the media, which noted that the documents contained new insights into the killers' motivations, the deaths of specific students, and other aspects of the tragedy. However, the press scrupulously ignored the amazing number of reports from eyewitnesses who saw people other than Harris and Klebold taking part.

Russ Kick's article "Witnesses to a Massacre: Other Participants at Columbine"--available only in the book Everything You Know Is Wrong--breaks the silence. It contains verbatim extracts from the written statements and police interviews of 45 students and faculty whose accounts throw into question the official version of events. Among the revelations:

· Several students in the cafeteria and on the soccer field saw a young man dressed in jeans and a white T-shirt throwing bombs during the attack. (Harris and Klebold were dressed in black trenchcoats and black pants.)

· Five students identified by name another student as being a perpetrator. One even made eye contact with him while he was shooting.

· Four students who were barricaded in a science room offered stunningly similar descriptions of a gunman they saw through the small window of the door. He was in his mid-twenties to early thirties, short, stocky, and muscular, with cropped hair that was either blonde or black with blonde tips. One student even provided a sketch of this unknown man (which is published for the first time in Everything You Know Is Wrong).

· Other students reported seeing a suspect wearing camouflage pants. One witness saw this person shoot teacher David Sanders, who died a few hours later.

· Several students, a teacher, and a coach reported the presence of a gunman on the roof of the school.

· Three students heard the shooters referring to one of their accomplices as "Joe."

· Several students reported seeing other gunmen, including three shooters in the cafeteria simultaneously and someone with a gun crouching in the bushes near the school.

· A teacher and two library staffers reported hearing gunshots between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, although Harris and Klebold are officially said to have killed themselves at 12:08 PM."When I first saw these statements, I was stunned," Kick said. "My previous book had an article about early media coverage of the Columbine shooting, so I knew there were many reports of other people taking part. But reading the raw documents and seeing the details takes it to a whole new level."

What about those who question the validity of eyewitness testimony? "That's certainly a concern," Kick replied. "But when you have three or more eyewitnesses separately describing the same thing, it’s pretty powerful. For example, there's amazing consistency among reports of the bomb-thrower in the white tee-shirt. And several of those kids saw him causing havoc alongside Harris and Klebold. In other words, they saw three perpetrators at the same time. That's quite persuasive."

Is there any other evidence that more people were involved? “Definitely,” said Kick. “There was only so much time and so many pages I could devote to the case, but there’s a lot more.” Such as? “Since turning the article in, I’ve found even more eyewitness reports indicating more than two gunmen. Then there are the media reports from April 20 and the days immediately afterward, which tell a very different story. As far as physical evidence goes, there are bullets and bullet fragments from the crime scene that don’t match the guns used by Harris, Klebold, or law enforcement personnel. Then we have all the evidence that’s being withheld. The authorities have released the autopsy for Eric Harris but not for Dylan Klebold. They’ve released the autopsies for two students but not for the other ten or for the teacher, David Harris. There are missing ballistics, evidence, and eyewitness reports. There are maps of the crime scene that have never been released, which have been leaked to me. They show that, contrary to what we’ve been told, the authorities fired into the library--where almost all the students were killed--and into classrooms where, according to the official story, Harris and Klebold never were. I‘ve posted these maps to my Website, alterNewswire.”

Sounds like they’re hiding something, doesn’t it? “Oh yes,” Kick replied. “There’s no doubt that they’re refusing to release a lot of material. The only question is why. And I can only think of two reasons. Either the authorities haven’t told us what happened that day, or they’re hiding their inept handling of the situation. Or both. The parents of two slain students and one student who survived that day are on record as saying the authorities are lying about Columbine. I quote them in my article. Since my article was finalized, parents of two more deceased students have said the same thing.”

Will we ever find out what really happened? “I wouldn’t bet on it,” Kick said. “Then again, there are a number of people who are refusing to let the secrecy and lies stand, so there’s hope yet.”
