Disinformation Books
Currently compiling a roundtable on the occult significance of Thelema magus Aleister Crowley for possible inclusion in a forthcoming anthologies. My piece on writing and researching pieces on the Bali bombings (12 October 2002) continues to grow and won't be included in Russ Kick's next anthology. It's mutating into a possible book or PhD research thesis. Currently assembling a "Reader's Guide" for Ziauddin Sardar and Merryl Wyn Davies' book Why Do People Hate America? (New York: Disinformation Books, 2003). The "Reader's Guide" will be made available in April 2003 as a free Adobe Acrobat PDF for educational and self-study purposes.
Australian Foresight Institute
I've just started an internship to create thematic content and bibliographic databases for AFI courses. The first stage is an overview of foresight and futures studies literature in Melbourne universities. I'm also on the online course development committee. Jose Ramos and I are making progress on the course proposals for "Emancipatory Futures" and "Risk Architectures: Concepts and Case Studies". A 7000-word profile on Competitive Intelligence will be published on 28 March 2003.

Black Box Magazine, an eldtritch project featuring four mini-magazines, with executive editorial by Howard Bloom and myself, is available now. "If I Had Known . . ." features exclusive articles by Dorion Sagan, Richard Metzger, Eric Shinn and other media dissidents. "This style mag revolves around drugs, medicine, biotech and the chemistry of the human body. Or to put it more succinctly: wetware." The mini-magazine's title was chosen by Danish publisher Mads Brugger and references a line of dialogue in Philip K. Dick's poignant anti-drug novel A Scanner Darkly (1977). Global distribution by the Comag Group. Get your local magazine specialist store to order copies now.
