Adrian Dvir: Alien Implants
Alien Implants are a well documented and known fact. Most people that have had encounters with aliens or who have been abducted have implants, this Web site confidently informs the visitor in big letters across the top of the page. Turns out, aliens use implants for the same reasons that our scientists here on Earth tag animals in the brush. To keep tabs on them of course. I put this in for comic relief, but I'm not sure it is really so funny!

The 2020 Neural Chip Implant
Subtitled 'A Report About the Intelli-Connection Connection', this is an analysis of a purportedly 'leaked' document that alleged neural implants were being tested on Federal prisoners in various facilities. This report shows the many faults with this document, and just why it is simply disinformation. Not that the US government doesn't conduct experiments on US prisoners (a claim amply documented over and over again in the past, so I wouldn't be surprised to find it continues today, only this isn't the proof). Rather, it looks like a 'straw man' allegation, easily refuted, thereby denigrating legitimate reports.

This 'Miami Herald' article (February 4th, 2000) mentions a Florida company that will be producing miniature 'Global Positioning Systems' (GPS), called 'Digital Angel', to be implanted under the skin to help parents find kidnapped offspring, or to keep tabs on delinquent juveniles they would rather not admit are offspring.
Letting Silicon Valley Implants Do The Talking
This 'Washington Post' article (February 1st, 2000) is no April Fools joke (I keep checking the article dates just to make sure). Kevin Warwick does indeed want to hook up his and his wife's nervous systems to a computer, and record emotional states and the brain patterns at those times. Then he'll try to replay them later. What an adventurer!
Anyone Out There Have Implants?
This alleges to be a complaint (August 3rd, 1994) from someone who was arrested and tortured for 10 months through the implants "that still exist in me," they write. Apparently this person would like to start a Class Action Suit, but as this written in 1994, who knows if 'they' haven't gotten to him by now?

Here you can find out how to implant your kids, your pets, yourself, with the device featured in the film 'Enemy of the State' (1998), used by the nefarious 'National Security Agency' to track Will Smith from space using GPS. Also features other nifty Big Brother surveillance toys. I see the commercials on TV for' Onstar Systems' for cars, and I think, "How can anyone willingly buy that option? Who wants to let some Eye in the Sky watch them, paying for the gadget that lets them be spied upon too?" Apparently, many people do.

This 'Seattle Times' article (May 13, 1999) reveals that doctors in France have discovered that by running an electrical current through electrodes they implanted in a patient "deep within her brain" to try and artificially stimulate those portions of the brain affected by Parkinson's Disease, they can induce fits of severe depression in her.

This article by David Hoffman is a preview of his book, 'Oklahoma City Bombing and the Politics of Terror' (Feral House, 1998), which is a very interesting book. Here he discusses the statements of Timothy McVeigh to the effect that the military had implanted him with a chip in his buttocks during the Gulf War. Not as far fetched as it seems.
