creationism v darwinism
by Richard Metzger - March 10, 2001
Creationism is becoming increasingly difficult to argue, with anything approach rationality in the 21st century.

Its proponents believe that God created man and animal in one fell swoop. The idea seems to have gained a foothold in many school boards across America, however, and many such groups are actively trying to have Darwin's theories of evolution banned from the curriculums of public schools.

Familiarize yourself with their arguments and get active in your children's education before a bunch of theologically challenged busybodies hijack their minds!

The Institute for Creation Research
A Christ-focused Creation Ministry. Um . . . pardon my ignorance, but when did Jesus ever discuss Creationism? These folks might have their 'testaments' confused.

ICR Tenets of Creationism
Consise statement of Creationist philosophy from the Institute for Creation Research. These people have a right to their beliefs and everyone should respect that. They, in turn, should not force their beliefs upon others.

No Answers in Genesis!
An excellent resource for rebutting Creationists. Includes materials on radiometric dating, geological time, the Second Law of Thermodynamics and the Noah's Ark controversy. Witty, erudite and skeptical.

Creationwise
Creationist cartoons.

Creation Science
Lots of information about the 'science' of Creationism . . .

Arkansas Theocrat Home Page
This page makes no sense whatsoever.

Welcome to Life Design
Brian is a lay Bible teacher, former high school teacher and author of Borrowed Evolution. Mary speaks about wardrobe planning and scarf tying to woman's clubs . . . And they want to design your life! Watch out!

Creationism Links
More Pro-and-Con Creationist materials on the Internet.

ChristianAnswers.Net: Creation/Evolution: Index of Questions
Asks questions about Creationism, UFOs and life on Mars. It's wacky stuff.

Access Research Network
A unique slant on Creationism vs Darwinism can be found here.

Biblical Creation Society
This site hails from England and seems a bit more genteel in its approach than its Yankee counterparts, who foam at the mouth . . .

How to Talk to Your Kids about Evolution and Creation
Basically, I said you should only believe what there is evidence for. Man, are these people misguided!

Evolution, Genes and Morality
Religious viewpoint on sociobiology. Is this guy for (sur)real or what?

Why We Believe in Creation
Convoluted logic about the origins of life on this planet . . .
