biblical prophecies
October 18, 2000
Whilst researching Biblical Prophecy on the Internet, I was struck by how fervently the people propagating this information seem to be HOPING to see the world end! The attitude seems to be 'Bring it on!' Don't these folks realize that there is an element of self fulfilling prophecy to that kind of mind set? I'll be the first to admit that there are ALARMING trends going on in the world today, but to actually WISH for it seems a tad drastic (and RUDE!). Does anyone remember James Watt of the Reagan administration? The guy who said 'Why not clear cut the Redwood Forest? Jesus is coming back?' And the next time you see Republican big-wig (and one time Presidential candidate!!!) Pat Robertson on TV offering his opinions on how we should all live our lives, keep in mind that he had predicted the end of the world in the year 2000 . . .Yup, he ran for President once . . .Then picture HIS finger on the nuclear button! YIKES!

more information

Armageddon Books
Uh . . .Yeah, I've got an idea: Let's open an online book store that only sells books about the end of the world to gullible fools! They also offer 'Free goodies with every order.' Check out the 'Christ Cloned Trilogy'.

Glenn Scheper Knows!
Links to over 46 thousand christian, gnostic, mystery, prophecy, revelation, and end-times web pages. Scheper's massive site correlates Biblical prophecies with modern objects and presents a radical epistemology that contends that the Word of God is "sex-magickal autofellatio."

The Ultimate Deception
Biblical Prophecies.

What Price The Hurghada Boom?
Whoever stands in the way of tourism is a traitor to Egypt and is guilty of treason, says Hurghada governor Saad Ali Abu-Reeda... (Hurghada's not actually part of Sinai but faces many of the same development issues).

Rapture Index
'The study of Bible Prophecy, the Rapture of the Church and Current Events.' Although I wouldn't exactly want to sit next to web master Todd Strandberg on a plane ride or anything, I gotta admit . . .he makes a pretty scary case that the Apocalypse is soon upon us . . .YIKES!

Links Of Interest
Weird mix of prophecy and conspiracy stuff from a 'Messianic Jewish' perspective. Check out their conspiracy theory page link which has a wild Timothy Leary article!

Apocalypse Soon?
Are you a Christian, a Jew or a Gentile?

Prophecy And Current Events
One of my favorite bible prophecy sites, because it gives you a true sense of what is going on in these people's minds!

Great Joy In Great Tribulation
Sounds like a BLAST! Should have been subtitled "Tonight we're gonna party like it's 1999 . . ." The guy who wrote this seems to think that PRINCE CHARLES is the Antichrist and he even PROVES it for you. A cup of tea with the Antichrist? Don't miss his tweaked RealAudio lectures!

The Angelic Conspiracy And End Times Deception
Almost all of the 'End Times' sites on the Internet are a tad . . .er . . . 'wacky', but this one takes the cake and therefore I recommend WHOLEHEARTEDLY that you check it out. Is Satan really an alien??? Apparently so . . .Mind rot at its finest!

Satan's Hidden History And The Monuments of Mars
I can't make this shit up!

Adult Christianity
Editor Miss Poppy Dixon's bi-monthly 'bust-a-gut' funny look at contemporary Christian culture. One of the best sites on the web. Note: Adult Christianity is NOT anti-Christian, it's anti-stupidity. If these lines seem somehow blurred . . . well . . .

Prophets And Prophecies
Not entirely biblical, but well rounded. Including Aboriginal, Hindu, Islamic, Hopi prophecies and much more . . .

The End-Times Network
It's like MTV, but different!
