Obama’s Change: More Tyranny and Oppression

Posted by judy_hollister on February 23, 2011

Has anyone seen a change for the good? Or just more of the same … changes that will only leave us with less rights and money in our pockets. From Nathan Janes of PUPAGANDA.com:

In January of 2009, as the American economy teetered on the brink of economic collapse, the most prominent story within the mainstream media, called “the greatest mystery since Watergate,” was the selection of the Obama family pet. With the election of Barak Obama, many Americans, relieved that “change” was on the way, focused their attention on such trivial matters as the Presidential dog rather than the state of continual economic decline within our country. This phenomenon came on the heels of a successful election campaign where Americans were sold the Obama brand through terrific marketing and public relations. Everyone was buying “hope” and “change” with not only their votes but with their time and energy. The Obama campaign…

Detroit Globalized

Posted by judy_hollister on January 16, 2011

Being from the Lansing and Detroit, Michigan area, it’s so heartbreaking visiting my former home state now. The state feels empty; the GM Oldsmobile factories that I drove past all the time have been flattened. Sad.

Detroit Globalized is a documentary explaining the effects that globalization has had on Detroit, MI.

Eternal Vigilance: The Cost of Freedom

Posted by judy_hollister on September 3, 2010

Nathan Janes writes on Pupaganda.com:

“Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible. Even if all are miserable, all will believe themselves happy, because the government will tell them that they are so.— Bertrand Russell, 20th Century Philosopher & Nobel Prize Winner

The most widespread form of slavery today is of the mind. Individuals are controlled and managed by the Establishment on a level that can be hard to recognize. Disinformation is continuously spread by the mass media. Children are schooled by the State yet never receive education. The traditional family is in danger of extinction. Our food and water is full of toxins. We have adapted to incremental changes that amount to significant threats to our personal freedoms, independent…

The Fluoride Fraud

Posted by judy_hollister on August 10, 2010

By Abby Martin for Mediaroots.org:

When was the last time you stopped to think about the one thing you can’t live without? I don’t mean the Internet – I’m talking about water. Without clean drinking water, life could not go on. This is why it’s so important that we know what is in our water. For the past sixty-five years, city governments nationwide have been adding a controversial substance called fluoride to municipal water supplies.

You probably recognize the word fluoride from the back of your toothpaste tube or from your visits to the dentist. But the fluoride added to our water is not the same as that in our toothpaste. The chemical added to our water is a fluorine compound called hexafluorosilicic acid that is generated as a by-product from the phosphate fertilizer industry.

Phosphates are minerals that are used to make fertilizer, and phosphate mining industry is a giant moneymaker. Fluoride is created by the production of fertilizer as…

“It Fell in Silence: The Collapse of World Trade Center 7″

Posted by judy_hollister on July 22, 2010

By Nathan Janes at PUPAGANDA.com:

Many Americans are unaware that three buildings within the World Trade Center complex fell on Sept 11, 2001. Located just 300 feet from the North Tower,World Trade Center Building 7 (WTC 7) was a forty-seven story steel framed building, which collapsed vertically in 6.5 seconds more than 6 hours after the collapse of the Twin Towers. Although the collapse of the towers was televised hundreds of times in the days following 9/11, the collapse of WTC 7 was seldom shown or discussed. The widely publicized 9/11 Commission Report fails to mention the collapse of WTC 7 in its 568 pages. Looking beyond the limited information provided by the mass media about the fall of WTC 7, a number of questions arise.

Construction began on WTC 7 in 1984; it was opened to the public in 1987. The building had 47 stories, was 570 feet tall, and had 81…

“The Official 9/11 Story … Accept Without Question”

Posted by judy_hollister on June 27, 2010

Nathan Janes writes at PUPAGANDA.com:

In the United States today, true investigative journalism is rare. Much of the news circulated by mainstream media is only a presentation of information handed down from the government. Major media functions as a gatekeeper of information, creating consensus among Americans on an array of topics including the popularly held beliefs about September 11, 2001.

An atmosphere has been created where questioning the official explanation or asking for a reinvestigation is seen as blasphemy. Individuals who do so are labeled anarchist, conspiracy theorist, domestic terrorist, and anti-government. Politicians and other public figures who have voiced concerns about the 9/11 Commission Report have been invited on national news programs only to be pressured to renounce previous statements about 9/11 and publicly reject any affiliation to the group 9/11 Truth. While a critical analysis of the 9/11 Commission Report is absent from mainstream media, a number of questions go unanswered…

Unplug the Signal: The Truth Will Not Be Televised

Posted by judy_hollister on February 23, 2010

By Nathan Janes, Pupaganda.com.

A flow of information is constantly streaming from the television set; a bombardment of words and pictures.  The speed at which this information is communicated makes it easy for the signal to take control, switching the viewer’s brain to stand-by as information is absorbed without analysis or question. Today the television’s constant signal shapes the conclusions of the masses and produces the collective norm.  The signal prescribes what is news and what is truth through the words of so-called experts and authorities, gelding the consciousness and independent thoughts of those subjected to it. Through television, the masses can be made to accept the most monstrous distortions of reality. The signal is a chill wind of continuous oppression over the minds of the masses. It controls the management of society and culture, creating uniformity across all subjects.

The fuel for this vehicle of mass deception is a technique known as…

The Constitutional Bankruptcy of Our Republic

Posted by judy_hollister on November 28, 2009

By Nathan Janes:

Uncle Sam was created as a symbol of the United States representing the ideals of freedom, equality, and justice.  Although this symbol has been a patriotic representation for over 150 years, Uncle Sam cannot stand as a fair symbol of our nation any longer. With recent attacks to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, citizens’ rights have been eroded.  If this long time representative of our nation could speak to us today perhaps he would remind us that our constitution gives us unalienable rights from the creator to the individual and can not under any circumstance be surrendered or taken.

Contrary to the common misconception, the United States is a constitutional republic and not a democracy.  In a republic, the sovereignty resides with the people themselves and one may act on his own or through his representatives when he chooses to confront a problem. The people have no obligation…

Big Media

Posted by judy_hollister on November 5, 2009

The late comedian George Carlin once observed that Americans have “owners” who “control just about all of the news and information you get to hear.” Do you think of our mainstream media outlets as mouthpieces for balanced journalism? theN3TWORK’s creative team has put together its most comprehensive episode to date, dissecting the power structures behind American corporate media and exposing glaring conflicts of interest. We also encapsulate the most critical changes in media regulation policy over the last century and discuss the implications for the rise of alternative media with the current Director of Project Censored, Peter Phillips.

Art is Dead: A Manifesto for Revolution in the Visual Arts

Posted by judy_hollister on November 1, 2009

Art is dead coverNathan Janes has been chosen as a contributor to the newly published book Art is Dead — A Manifesto for Revolution in the Visual Arts. The book, written by abstract artist and professor Ted Mikulski, explores the status of visual arts in American culture today while including the thoughts of sixteen American artists. In his contribution, Janes argues that multinational corporations in conjunction with the mass media have used their enormous power and influence to mold a mainstream consumerist culture, which uses visual arts to promote consumption through advertising art. Janes addresses the influence of the consumerist culture on the fine art scene as many well known artists now employ factory-style production lines of assistants to create their original artwork while creative and effective marketing is used to sell these works for upwards of six figures each. Rather than see the emergence of modern day artists as celebrities, Janes hopes…

The Ancient Symbolism of the Dog

Posted by judy_hollister on September 22, 2009

by Aaron Franz of Transalchemy.com Visual symbols represent a language of their own. The most powerful symbols are ironically the most common things in our daily lives, those things that we all too often take for granted. All of the basic things that we see on an everyday basis have the most influence over our lives, both physically and mentally. Images of the sun, moon, food, and water have always been potent symbols within the “ancient mysteries.” Anyone who is wise enough to understand the importance of the basic elements of life can use them as symbols to influence the minds of other people. Life can be interpreted in any number of ways, and the most popular interpretation on any given day has everything to do with the deliberate use of symbols by an “intellectual elite.” Throughout the ages this has been the case. Within “civilized” society there has always been…

We are Living in an Artificially Induced State of Consciousness

Posted by judy_hollister on September 7, 2009

Nathan Janes, PUPAGANDA.com: Since its inception in American homes in the late 1930s, television has essentially given America it’s culture.

Today, television watching is the most popular leisure activity as more and more people are choosing the fantasy world of TV over engaging with others in real communication and experiences. Where people once wanted to explore the wonders of the world and nature, now many explore the world outside their homes only through what they view on television.

Once a vast majority is living the same reality through television, then they are more predictable and easily managed. The television does an excellent job placing everyone that watches it on the same page, all sharing the same views, worries, interests, and idols.

Mass Mind Control is Upon Us — It’s Time to Awaken Your Consciousness

Posted by judy_hollister on August 27, 2009

Nathan Janes, PUPAGANDA.com: Many people may not realize that when they turn on the television in their home, what they see as a constant flow of images is actually flickering. Although we do not see this consciously, the repetitive pattern of flickering images creates a state that is similar to hypnosis in the television viewer.

Studies by researcher Herbert Krugman have shown that within 30 seconds of television viewing, brain waves switch from predominantly beta waves, indicating alert and conscious attention, to predominantly alpha waves, indicating an unfocused, receptive lack of attention. The brain’s left hemisphere, which processes information logically and analytically, tunes out while the person is watching TV, while the right hemisphere of the brain, which processes information emotionally and non-critically, is allowed to function without hindrance.

Due to this phenomenon, television transmits information, which is not actively thought about at the time of exposure, much like hypnosis. When viewing…

Reality (Of) TV

Posted by judy_hollister on August 18, 2009

Aaron Franz, Transalchemy.com: This brief article focuses on television as a tool. We must understand that the television is far more than a modern luxury created simply to entertain us.

It is indeed a tool, which is being used by highly astute technicians. These technicians use the veil of entertainment to get us to lower our guard. This is an old trick. We would be wise to question that which we label harmless entertainment.

To say that television affects the mind is an understatement. That rabbit eared magician has more than one trick up its sleeve.

One of the most important being the ability to hypnotize. At this point it is important to note that hypnotism in and of itself is more than just a cheap trick.

It is absolutely legitimate and scientific in nature. I’ve found that people tend to lump stage hypnotism in with stage magic. This is understandable given their similar…

Obama’s First Big Failure: Spending Us Into Oblivion

Posted by judy_hollister on January 30, 2009

It’s official, President King Obama has taken his first steps towards ruining our country, seamlessly picking up where George W. Bush left off.

Last night his $825+ BILLION “Stimulus” bill was passed. NONE of the House Republicans voted for it (for once Ron Paul did not stand alone), and all but 11 Democrats voted for it (including Mary Jo Kilroy, new Representative for Ohio’s 15th District, who will NEVER AGAIN get my vote.)

If you support Obama’s plan, I have 3 assignments for you:

1. Find where in the Constitution it says the federal government is allowed to use tax-payer money for these things.

2. Read the Stimulus Bill for yourself. All 1,588 pages.

3. Report back to me in a few months and tell me how many jobs have been created and how much better off we are thanks to this emergency pillaging.

4. EXTRA CREDIT #1: Research how FDR’s New Deal programs actually prolonged…

Pop Artist Nathan Janes Urges Public to ‘Free Tibet’ with New Painting ‘Tragedy and Hope’

Posted by judy_hollister on January 20, 2009

The painting, “Tragedy and Hope,” marks the bloody history of Tibet as it culture and people have been eradicated by the Chinese since 1950 but it also marks the artist and other activists’ hope that people will continue to cry out until justice is brought to the Tibetan people.

Janes says that he “realizes many people accept the world as it is presented to them and continuing struggles such as that of the Tibetan people are not often presented to the American public through mass media outlets.”

He hopes that through his painting he will spread awareness about the tragic situation in Tibet to those who view his art and encourage people to learn about world events in other ways besides the mass media.
