In January of 2009, as the American economy teetered on the brink of economic collapse, the most prominent story within the mainstream media, called “the greatest mystery since Watergate,” was the selection of the Obama family pet. With the election of Barak Obama, many Americans, relieved that “change” was on the way, focused their attention on such trivial matters as the Presidential dog rather than the state of continual economic decline within our country. This phenomenon came on the heels of a successful election campaign where Americans were sold the Obama brand through terrific marketing and public relations. Everyone was buying “hope” and “change” with not only their votes but with their time and energy. The Obama campaign recruited well over 2 million volunteers, a number unprecedented by any other election campaign within US history. Before Obama even won the election, he seemed to be assigned Messianic status, normally associated with royalty and totalitarian leaders. As part of his public relations campaign, celebrities openly pledged “service” to the Obama administration and asked Americans to also become “agents of change.”

Although Obama was to be the administrator of change, much of what his administration would bring would be more of the same. The democratic presidential elect was expected to reverse the assaults to the constitution that occurred over the previous eight years under the republican president. However, under the Obama Administration, warrantless wiretapping, secret arrests, indefinite detention of citizens, and the use of torture have all been expanded. The Obama administration effectively expanded the gains of tyranny and oppression achieved by the previous administration. Obama supported the Banker Bailout allowing bankers to make off with trillions in taxpayer’s money, bankrupting the future of our country for generations to come. His administration doled out taxpayers’ money to Wall Street, causing rampant inflation, a lowering of living standards and the destruction of the dollar. An engineered deconstruction of the economy is occurring; our manufacturing industry, civil liberties, and monetary foundations are all rapidly eroding. America has been reduced from an industrial economy to a service economy selling the goods of other nations.

Within his election campaign, Obama made a number of promises that would soon be broken. Among these, he pledged to end NAFTA and GATT but once in office expanded both. He promised to have the most transparent administration ever but instead many aspects of his presidency have been cloaked in secrecy. Obama’s first official act as president was to seal the release of his personal records with an executive order. He made the names of visitors to the White House private, protecting the identity of those who visit and may influence policy decisions. Obama, a constitutional lawyer, stated that he would not control congress with signing statements the way that his predecessor had. However, Obama has used signing statements on several occasions to manipulate legislation passed by Congress. Since his executive order imposing a two-year waiting period for lobbyists entering his administration, more than 40 ex-lobbyists have populated top jobs in the administration. Obama pledged to wait five days before signing bills passed by Congress to allow review by the public. Since Obama’s election, bills have been rushed through congress and voted on before anyone has an opportunity to read them. Congress was given less than an hour to read the revisions to the 1,070 page Stimulus Bill. Obama stated the Stimulus Bill was so urgent that it had to be passed before Congress could read it. The anti-war candidate in the 2008 election, Obama has extended the war and increased the number of troops involved while also expanding the defense budget. He promised to abolish the Patriot Act only to reinstate it while continuing the Bush administration’s policy of rendition, the arrest of any citizen labeled an “enemy combatant,” and the indefinite detention of citizens without any evidence of crime.

In 1787, at the close of the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked what type of government the Constitution was bringing into existence. Franklin replied, “A republic, if you can keep it.” A republic, a form of government ruled by law, provides for the limitation of government and the protection of the rights of the people. Over the last 50 years, the government system of the US and several other countries has transformed into an oligarchy, rule by a small group of individuals who essentially obtain their power by buying it. Donors of the Obama campaign were a Who’s Who of multinational corporations, Wall Street interests, and banks. The influence that these high-level campaign contributors have on legislators and the president shapes the law of the country and the flow of taxpayers’ dollars. The powerful few shape the minds of the public through the use of covert public relations techniques disseminated by the mass media so that few citizens are aware of the role these individuals play in shaping the situation of us all.

The most widespread form of slavery today is of the mind. Individuals are controlled and managed by the Establishment on a level that can be hard to recognize. Disinformation is continuously spread by the mass media. Children are schooled by the State yet never receive education. The traditional family is in danger of extinction. Our food and water is full of toxins. We have adapted to incremental changes that amount to significant threats to our personal freedoms, independent thoughts, and quality of life. Largely, the public has become sick and dumb. Our country is in a state of crisis.

The Establishment has colluded to sabotage education in America, producing a population that is unable to think critically and logically. Children are indoctrinated through schooling, trained not to question authority, and rewarded for competing with their peers and doing exactly as they are told. With the prevalence of after and before school programs, many children are now spending up to 12 hours a day at school. Children are taught disrespect for family, and the mind and character of the child is overwhelmingly influenced by the State. The Establishment is controlling tomorrow by schooling the youth of today.

Sexual education classes are often taught before children have even reached puberty. We live in a culture that is ever increasingly encouraging children to have pre-pubertal sex. Children over stimulated sexually before puberty are likely to become hyper-sexualized adults unable to deeply bond with another person. The ‘entertainment’ industry is constantly sending the message of promiscuity through movies and television that capture an audience of young viewers. According to Nielsen television statistics, ‘Desperate Housewives’ was the most popular television show with girls aged 9–12 in 2005. Even the United Nations pushes the agenda, advocating masturbation for children as young as 5 years old in a 2009 report titled “International Guidelines for Sexuality Education.”

Culture is being used as a weapon against the traditional family. The media continuously portrays fathers as pathetic fools celebrated for their stupidity rather than for moral strength and integrity. Women have been portrayed as independent career focused self-obsessed individuals who are sexually aggressive and promiscuous. An atmosphere has been created where breast-feeding is seen as obscene but women are expected and encouraged to expose their breasts in a sexual nature. Clearly excluded from this image are family values and the raising of children. Instead of surrounding the family dinner table for meals and discussions, we surround the television each evening, absorbing the views and ideas it promotes.

When was the last time you stopped to think about the one thing you can’t live without? I don’t mean the Internet – I’m talking about water. Without clean drinking water, life could not go on. This is why it’s so important that we know what is in our water. For the past sixty-five years, city governments nationwide have been adding a controversial substance called fluoride to municipal water supplies.

You probably recognize the word fluoride from the back of your toothpaste tube or from your visits to the dentist. But the fluoride added to our water is not the same as that in our toothpaste. The chemical added to our water is a fluorine compound called hexafluorosilicic acid that is generated as a by-product from the phosphate fertilizer industry.

Phosphates are minerals that are used to make fertilizer, and phosphate mining industry is a giant moneymaker. Fluoride is created by the production of fertilizer as well as in the manufacturing of steel, aluminum, glass, and cement. Previously, the lack of government regulation allowed gaseous fluoride to move through factory smokestacks and straight into our atmosphere. Now, environmental regulations require giant filtration systems called “scrubbers” atop the stacks to keep these toxic chemicals from escaping into the air. Fluorosilicic acid is then extracted from these scrubbers and condensed to a water-based solution which is packaged unrefined and sold to city governments for the purpose of water fluoridation.

By selling the fluoride byproducts for this purpose, companies avoid  the huge cost of disposing of these chemicals in the environment safely, and according to regulation. Back in the 1930’s, a band of industrial corporations – including Monsanto, U.S. Steel, Union Carbide, and Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA),  the leading producer of aluminum – had been cheaply disposing of their fluoride byproducts into the environment for years. This changed when their toxic waste became the target of negative press in the local news. A 1933 toxicology report by the USDA had warned of fluoride’s toxicity, singling out the aluminum industry as the biggest culprit.

The new potential of legal liability due to the exposure of workers and communities to industrial fluoride scared these corporations. Knowing that disposing of industrial fluoride waste safely was expensive, ALCOA employed biochemist Gerald Cox in 1936, to argue for fluoride’s dental benefits through experimentation on rats. Cox, neither a doctor nor a dentist, concluded that fluoride strengthened and protected teeth against decay and began to tour the country promoting water fluoridation on behalf of his employers. Interestingly, Cox’s findings ran contrary to the position originally held by the American Dental Association (ADA) on water fluoridation…

Many Americans are unaware that three buildings within the World Trade Center complex fell on Sept 11, 2001. Located just 300 feet from the North Tower,World Trade Center Building 7 (WTC 7) was a forty-seven story steel framed building, which collapsed vertically in 6.5 seconds more than 6 hours after the collapse of the Twin Towers. Although the collapse of the towers was televised hundreds of times in the days following 9/11, the collapse of WTC 7 was seldom shown or discussed. The widely publicized 9/11 Commission Report fails to mention the collapse of WTC 7 in its 568 pages. Looking beyond the limited information provided by the mass media about the fall of WTC 7, a number of questions arise.

Construction began on WTC 7 in 1984; it was opened to the public in 1987. The building had 47 stories, was 570 feet tall, and had 81 support columns with 24 core columns and 57 perimeter columns spanning from basement to roof. If it were located elsewhere, it would have been the tallest building in more than half of the states of the nation. The 50,000 square foot building housed offices for The Department of Defense, the Securities & Exchange Commission, and the Internal Revenue Service; outside of Washington D.C., it was the Central Intelligence Agency’s largest facility. New York City’s Office of Emergency Management’s Operations Center was on the 23rd floor where it served as an emergency bunker for the mayor with its own air supply and generators.

On the morning of 9/11, several of the surrounding buildings were damaged when the towers fell. Building 3 was nearly split in half; nine-story Building 4 was almost completely crushed; Building 5 suffered severe structural damage and fires; and Building 6, located between the towers and WTC 7, suffered a giant hole in the center of the building.  Despite all of the heavy damage, none of these buildings collapsed.  The damage sustained to WTC 7 paled in severity when compared to the other buildings surrounding the Towers.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a federal agency of the US Department of Commerce, was tasked with investigating the collapse of WTC 7. Despite two high-level government workers as well as many others witnessing explosions within the building, NIST released it’s final report on August 21, 2008 stating that the collapse of WTC 7 was solely due to fire.  In the time before the collapse of WTC 7, there were fires on the East face of the building, between floors 11 & 12, on the North face between floors 7 & 12, and on the West face between floors 29 & 30.

By 3:00 pm the Chief of the Fire Department of the City of New York, Daniel Nigro, setup a collapse zone around WTC 7. Video footage shows firefighters and police warning many of the volunteers and on lookers that the building was about to collapse with exchanges heard such as,  “Keep your eye on that building, it’ll be coming down soon,” and, “The building is about to blow up, move it back.” Prior to the building collapsing, it was reported by both CNN and BBC that WTC 7 had fallen. At 5:21 pm, WTC 7 fell into it’s own footprint in approximately 6.5 seconds. Before 9/11, no other steel buildings throughout history had ever collapsed due to fire alone. Not even steel buildings with fires many times larger than those that WTC 7 suffered had ever collapsed. How did the fire department, police, and news stations know that such a collapse was about to occur?

Prior to the NIST report, the Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) assembled a volunteer team of engineers to investigate the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings. The engineers found that temperatures of 1,000 °c or 1,800 °f were present in all three of the buildings that collapsed. WTC 7 was reported to have only isolated office fires; the burning of only office material could not reach fires of this temperature. In its final report, NIST states that the collapse of WTC 7 was specifically due to thermal expansion of one support beam on the 13th floor that failed and then caused one column to collapse triggering a progressive collapse of the rest of the support structure. This theory does not match the evidence collected by researchers independent of NIST.

Professors from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the University of California as well as scientists at the US Geological Survey studied steel from WTC 7 and found that it had been subject to temperatures much higher than even 1,800 °f.  These researchers found that steel from the building had reached the temperature of vaporization, nearly 2800 °f, and that atoms in the steel had formed compounds with sulfur. Sulfur is found in explosives and lowers the melting point of steel.  Researchers also found evidence of a thermite reaction and active thermitic material in dust collected from the scene. Thermite is an incendiary, which can be used to cut through steel.

NIST further ignores evidence that refutes its theory when it fails to explain why the building fell at free fall or gravitational acceleration for 105 feet. One theory that explains this occurrence is that of controlled demolition, which would have allowed the top floors of the building to fall without resistance. This evidence is consistent with video footage that reveals a crimp, a classic mark of implosion, developed in the center left top of the building as it began to fall. The crimp could have been caused by one of the central columns being blown at the base of the building causing the building to fall in on itself, rather than in an outward direction.

In the years since the buildings fell, the federal government has earned harsh criticism for their handling of the investigation of 9/11. It is almost unbelievable that no steel was recovered from WTC 7 for the NIST investigation and that the agency failed to test dust from WTC for incendiaries. One may ask how an investigational report can be trusted as accurate and thorough when the evidence of the crime has been so assiduously mismanaged and disregarded. Engineers and scientists are stepping forward to publicly reject the official explanation of the collapse. Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, which represents over 1,200 professional architects and engineers as of 2010, is calling for a new investigation of the collapse of WTC 7 as well as the twin towers.

The number of Americans learning of the evidence refuting the official explanation of the collapse of WTC 7 is growing. The mass media continues to ignore the call by millions both within and outside of the United States for a new investigation.  State crimes against democracy have been recognized by American social scientists as an area of criminality needing to be studied in a scientific manner. Although we are beginning to recognize the criminality within our government, we have yet to hold individuals accountable for the most serious of crimes. Let’s take back our country. Review the evidence for yourself. Refuse to allow corruption to further erode our republic and undermine popular sovereignty.

In the United States today, true investigative journalism is rare. Much of the news circulated by mainstream media is only a presentation of information handed down from the government. Major media functions as a gatekeeper of information, creating consensus among Americans on an array of topics including the popularly held beliefs about September 11, 2001.

An atmosphere has been created where questioning the official explanation or asking for a reinvestigation is seen as blasphemy. Individuals who do so are labeled anarchist, conspiracy theorist, domestic terrorist, and anti-government. Politicians and other public figures who have voiced concerns about the 9/11 Commission Report have been invited on national news programs only to be pressured to renounce previous statements about 9/11 and publicly reject any affiliation to the group 9/11 Truth. While a critical analysis of the 9/11 Commission Report is absent from mainstream media, a number of questions go unanswered and unrecognized by most Americans.

In the days following 9/11, government officials claimed they never imagined anyone attacking the nation by flying planes into buildings even though warnings of such an event had been given from both within and outside of the US.  On August 6, 2001, President Bush was warned by the President’s Daily Brief, headlined, “Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US.”  In the year before 9/11, Italy, Morocco, and Britain released detailed and urgent warnings to the US of planned attacks using planes as weapons where the World Trade Center was given as a specific target. These warnings were forwarded to certain government officials yet no warnings were issued to the American people. The security of our borders and airports were never increased to protect from such a threat. However, surface to air missiles were placed on the roof of the Sarasota Florida resort in which President Bush was staying the night before the attacks. This was not a typical security procedure at the time.

On September 11, 2001, war games were being held by the military and intelligence agencies, which included scenarios of a domestic air crisis, a plane striking a government building, and a large-scale emergency in New York. When it was recognized that morning by air traffic control that several commercial airliners were not responding and were off course, a response was delayed significantly as it was confused with the large scale war game taking place. Fighter jets could have easily intercepted the hijacked planes under ordinary circumstances but the jets of nearby Air Force bases were otherwise occupied. Between September 2000 and June 2001, fighter jets were sent by the FAA to intercept errant aircraft 67 times; such a task was routine whenever a plane would lose radio contact or fly off course. Isn’t it strange that war games mimicking similar terrorist attacks were taking place at the exact time of the actual events of 9/11 causing confusion and leaving such sensitive locations vulnerable to attack? If this was only an incredible series of coincidences, why did the official investigation avoid reporting on this issue?

The questions that arise from looking closely at the events that preceded the attacks are dwarfed by the volumes of unanswered questions about the attackers, the collapse of the buildings, and the financial gains that resulted from the event. When presented with these troubling questions, most Americans will respond, “Do you really think the government would lie to us and deliberately kill innocent Americans for an agenda?”  The American invasion of Iraq, an undeclared act of war, began with the claim that Iraq was a threat due to their possession of weapons of mass destruction. It was found that these weapons did not exist and any ties between the 9/11 terrorists and Saddam Hussein were also found false. As of April 2010, more than 31,000 US troops had been seriously injured and over 4,300 soldiers had died.

Unclassified documents reveal that the United States has planned and engaged in a number of false flag attacks throughout recent history. On August 4, 1964, the Vietnamese were accused of engaging in two unprovoked attacks on the USS Maddox in the Gulf of Tonkin.  This incident became a pretext for a war that resulted in over 58,000 US soldier deaths. Nearly 140 top-secret documents declassified by the federal government in 2005 revealed that the second Gulf of Tonkin attack, which catalyzed the US into the Vietnam War, never took place. Similarly, in 1898 Spain was accused of destroying the USS Maine. However, evidence is clear that the naval ship was not attacked by Spain but likely exploded due to a coal fire or an external mine. Although the reason for the Maine’s explosion was unknown at the time, newspapers and American industrial magnates were quick to blame Spain knowing that a war would likely result, and their financial interests in Cuba would be protected from the Spanish. The propaganda of this time may be best represented by the slogan ‘Remember the Maine- To Hell with Spain.’

In 1962, the Pentagon created Operation Northwoods, an effort to build public support for a war against Cuba with the goal of ousting Fidel Castro from power. These plans included destroying a naval ship, hijacking planes, and committing acts of terrorism within US cities that would result in the deaths of innocent citizens. These plans were kept secret for nearly 40 years. Comparably, principals in US foreign policy under the Bush administration created plans in the late 1990s, which clearly stated their intent to invade Iraq for the purpose of “regime change.” In their documentation they openly state that the public and Congress would not accept their agenda therefore transition would be slow “absent a catalyzing and catastrophic event like a new Pearl Harbor.”

Rahm Emanuel, White House Chief of Staff under President Obama is quoted as saying, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste — and what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you didn’t think you could do before.” It is clear that the events of 9/11 opened the door for the degradation of Americans’ civil rights, unprecedented intrusions into citizens’ private lives, as well as undeclared and unjustified war.  What is not clear is how an event as catastrophic as 9/11 was permitted to happen. If the mainstream media continues to be our source of information, we will certainly never know the answers to such questions.

The majority of Americans have failed to look beyond the television news, radio, and newspapers of major media outlets for information about 9/11.  Many have adopted the views of these sources without critical analysis or any outside research. After all, why think for yourself when you can gather your thoughts and opinions from the evening news? In our culture, we have been trained to believe rather than think. The obvious is rejected and the fictitious is accepted. We, the people of this great nation, need to interrupt the transmission of disinformation and demand answers. Do your own research; dig beyond the news presented by the mass media. Although it remains unpopular to ask questions about September 11th, we must summon courage, for, as Thomas Jefferson once said, “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.”

A flow of information is constantly streaming from the television set; a bombardment of words and pictures.  The speed at which this information is communicated makes it easy for the signal to take control, switching the viewer’s brain to stand-by as information is absorbed without analysis or question. Today the television’s constant signal shapes the conclusions of the masses and produces the collective norm.  The signal prescribes what is news and what is truth through the words of so-called experts and authorities, gelding the consciousness and independent thoughts of those subjected to it. Through television, the masses can be made to accept the most monstrous distortions of reality. The signal is a chill wind of continuous oppression over the minds of the masses. It controls the management of society and culture, creating uniformity across all subjects.

The fuel for this vehicle of mass deception is a technique known as perception management where an array of psychological techniques are used to alter the truth, leading the viewer to a desired conclusion. Some call this spin or propaganda while others know it as lying.  According to Joseph Goebbels, Propaganda Minister for Adolph Hitler, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it… It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Most of what can be found on the nightly news is nothing but advertisements selling more government and a false reality that benefits only those in control. Television is the dictator of information; newspaper and radio are the whisper campaign of the television’s message.

It is expected that Americans will consistently prescribe to the doctrine of the television. It is subtly communicated that one should stay within the collective and never challenge the message, for doing so may be considered an aggression towards culture. The message is, “Be a good consumer; always obey authority; you know nothing; listen only to experts; be content and never question or express new ideas.” This signal is being broadcast across millions of screens, indoctrinating the unconscious minds of those who choose this as their only reality. Self-censorship occurs when these individuals become so deeply indoctrinated that they are afraid to discuss any information outside the paradigm of television-created culture; they police their thoughts to ensure they won’t conflict with this culture. Sadly, many people’s reality today does not allow any outside information to process, instead it is written off as conspiracy or blatant lies. Our consciousness has been destroyed so much that fiction has become reality. An entire lifestyle of poisonous foods, pharmaceuticals, and fluoridated water are accepted as safe and sold to us at the cost of our health and well being.

Those of the establishment are using the incredibly powerful weapon of mass psychology as a method of controlling the minds of the masses and altering the behavior of individuals. Edward Bernays, a pioneer in the field of public relations in the 20th century, applied Sigmund Freud’s theory of psychoanalysis to manipulate the masses by engineering consent. According to Bernays, “If we understand the mechanism and motives of the group mind, it is now possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without them knowing it.” Advertisers and psychologists of the billion dollar culture creation industry manufacture trends through the proliferation of insecurities; and manipulating desires and emotions. These concepts are also employed to control how individuals think about politics, as well as the possibilities and limitations within society.  Those welding power within our streams of mass communication market their plans into each generation as individuals adopt specific ways of thinking and never suspect that all the major events and trends within their lifetime are actually planned by an elite few before they are even born. In our society today, culture is created from the top down. Virtually all forms of culture are created by the ruling class to build a false sense of reality, ensure social compliance, and control the future course of cultural evolution.

Predictive programming is a tool used by the establishment to acclimate the public to new ideas, trends, beliefs, and threats. It is used through television by including certain situations or ideas within the plots of many fictional shows, familiarizing the viewer with these concepts no matter what they may be watching.  When similar situations occur or like ideas are circulated in the world we think that these particular things are quite natural for we have unknowingly been made familiar with them through television. By viewing nearly any popular show on television, one can see the same propaganda that will be aired on the nightly news. Propaganda on a wide array of subjects has been interwoven into a great number of television shows. Just a few of these subjects include global warming, vaccinations, torture, terrorism, national security, the militarization of police, and the degradation of the family unit. Through predictive programming, television shapes culture and prevents individuals from asking questions.

Crisis’ are created on a daily basis and broadcast across the airwaves to keep individuals in a state of panic and fear. Whether it be the threat of a pandemic or terrorism, the constant state of crisis has created a form of mental illness as we are slowly acclimated into an age of crisis. By using Hegelian dialectic, the television promotes the problem, guides our reaction, and presents the solution. The problem of terrorism was exclaimed, a strong emotional response was evoked, and it was stated that our rights need be sacrificed in order to protect us from the threat. We’ve lost personal sovereignty under the guise of terrorism; we’re stopped and searched; we’re watched by cameras as we go about our lives; and we’re encouraged to spy on our neighbors.  We have been trained to accept the life of a prisoner.

America is in a state of enlightened despotism where most individuals live only to satisfy selfish inner desires and remain ignorant of the state of the world around them. In most public places one can find a television transmitting propaganda around the clock ensuring the masses remain focused on trivial matters. From birth we take the world as it’s presented on television.  We don’t question it and any serious criticism of TV is becoming psychologically impossible in society. Who would suspect getting born into a world where everything around you is a continuous lie? The youth of today are convinced that the experts and personalities on television are the authority of credible information while parents and older generations are foolish with dated ideas.  Children are conditioned to disconnect from what is truly important to their well being and instead focus on mindless trivia, sports, celebrity gossip, and buying an array of material things. They invest their psychological worth in fantasy characters on television while ignoring or even scorning individuals contributing to the betterment of humanity. They are discouraged from getting involved in their local community and often lack the ability to think independently or to resist corruption. As their children’s minds are molded by television, there is barely a murmur from the public.

For over half a century, our society has lived under this signal of mental programming and conditioning. The message is clear: don’t be a leader, don’t engage in critical thinking, and don’t care about the people in your life. Until individuals become aware of the current information war, our standard of living and our liberties will continue to be degraded and we will continue to lose communities and meaningful relationships between people. Currently, pockets of resistance are beginning to spring up everywhere as some unplug the signal and regain control of their own thoughts. Informed individuals are canceling their cable and satellite subscriptions and instead spending time with their families and children while participating in meaningful experiences. They are seeking alternative news sources. They are reading about those who weld incredible influence over culture like Edward Bernays, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Charles Galton Darwin, Plato, Bertrand Russell, and Aldous Huxley. However, it is a continuous battle to educate the masses for the television remains our greatest threat to individual sovereignty and the largest obstacle to becoming a truly informed individual. Fortunately, unplugging from the signal is easy. The television can simply be turned off. Through doing so, you may realize nearly our entire world is now a hoax; things once known as truth are fake. We have been trained like dogs to be obedient to our television; our master has had our minds on a tight leash. Let us never forget the truth will not be televised.

Uncle Sam was created as a symbol of the United States representing the ideals of freedom, equality, and justice.  Although this symbol has been a patriotic representation for over 150 years, Uncle Sam cannot stand as a fair symbol of our nation any longer. With recent attacks to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, citizens’ rights have been eroded.  If this long time representative of our nation could speak to us today perhaps he would remind us that our constitution gives us unalienable rights from the creator to the individual and can not under any circumstance be surrendered or taken.

Contrary to the common misconception, the United States is a constitutional republic and not a democracy.  In a republic, the sovereignty resides with the people themselves and one may act on his own or through his representatives when he chooses to confront a problem. The people have no obligation to the government; instead, the government is a servant of the people. Since September 11, 2001 we have been witnessing the destruction of our republic. Congress is gradually dismantling the Bill of Rights and the Constitution with the strong influence of the two most recent presidents.  The public is distracted by a left/right paradigm that is controlled by the establishment.  While the public is busy criticizing those on the other side of the paradigm, the establishment’s power grab goes unchecked and our constitutional rights are further eroded.  In this way national sovereignty and the freedom of individuals is being destroyed.

On October 26, 2001, American citizens’ right to privacy ended with the passage of the Patriot Act.  Of the 435 US Representatives, the Patriot Act was read by no one before it was voted on and passed, a violation of the Representatives’ oath of office.  The 342 paged bill allows for violations to citizens’ rights including the search of home and property without knowledge or consent of the citizen, known as “sneak and peek” spying. Also permitted by the bill is the indefinite imprisonment of any citizen without due process, access to the courts, or the counsel of a lawyer.  The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now able to obtain records from businesses, hospitals, bookstores, and libraries for any reason and can search phone, email, and financial records without a court order.

There is a reason for the absence of visual arts in the mainstream society of today. Our society is dominated by huge corporations who not only control what we see on television, in newspapers, and in magazines, but also have enormous power on the actions of our lawmakers and government officials. Because of this, corporations have great influence over what the culture of our country has become.  The appreciation of fine art and other cultural traditions is being replaced with the mainstream consumer culture where having more and better things are what is valued most.  Fine art is something that  is created by individuals or groups of artists working together to convey a message or encourage thinking that reaches outside of the consumer culture. Although fine art too can be used as a symbol of status, the intentions of most fine artists are to create something that is unique and inspires critical thinking.  These goals and intentions do not align with the goals of the corporations welding such strong influence on our culture today and so the fine arts are mostly absent from the mainstream.  What little art that can be found is created to encourage consumption; it is advertising art.

Outside of the mainstream culture, however, fine art continues to exist and many great fine artists continue to produce work that is appreciated and enjoyed by a small subset of our society. Yet the fine art world is not insulated from the goals and objectives of corporations and the consumerist culture has affected the way that some artists create and produce their work. Many of the more well-known and financially successful artists today do not create much of their own artwork.  Instead some have factory-style production lines, where the entire process uses mechanized labor from the inspiration of the work through the production of the art to the mass marketing and sale. Popular artists of today who may only be capable of completing 20–30 original pieces of art a year are suddenly producing over 100 and selling them for upwards of $80,000 a piece and no one seems to notice or care.   Art celebrity Andy Warhol who called his studio “The Factory,” and used assistants to produce silk screens of his work perhaps first popularized this process, which goes largely unaddressed in the art world today.  Whether this phenomonenon is further degrading the fine art culture goes undebated as the subculture becomes further homogenized into the consumerist culture of the mainstream.

How do you know about real concerns in the world if you are stuck within the matrix of mainstream society? Many people accept the world as it is presented to them, in our culture it is presented to us by corporations and is massaged and filtered by their goals and objectives. Fine art can play an important role in disseminating information that is relevant to the world today but goes uncommunicated because it does not fit within the goals of our consumerist culture. However, if selling out to corporations and creating art that only aligns with corporate objectives continues to be the trend then if art is not dead already it is certainly on its deathbed.

One very powerful symbol that we have taken for granted is that of the dog. Dogs have become another “normal” part of our everyday lives that we unfortunately take for granted. However, in the ancient language of symbolism dogs are very important symbols of duality. Their very nature is twofold: one part wild beast, and one part domesticated animal. By the hand of man the dog was taken out of the wild natural kingdom and brought into civilized society. The taming of nature is a very important aspect of the so called “great work” of secret societies. The domestication of wild animals is representative of the power to mold and shape nature according to the will.

Studies by researcher Herbert Krugman have shown that within 30 seconds of television viewing, brain waves switch from predominantly beta waves, indicating alert and conscious attention, to predominantly alpha waves, indicating an unfocused, receptive lack of attention. The brain’s left hemisphere, which processes information logically and analytically, tunes out while the person is watching TV, while the right hemisphere of the brain, which processes information emotionally and non-critically, is allowed to function without hindrance.

Due to this phenomenon, television transmits information, which is not actively thought about at the time of exposure, much like hypnosis. When viewing television, we do not consciously rationalize the information resonating within our unconscious depths at the time of transmission and the viewer becomes more open and suggestible.

Last night his $825+ BILLION “Stimulus” bill was passed. NONE of the House Republicans voted for it (for once Ron Paul did not stand alone), and all but 11 Democrats voted for it (including Mary Jo Kilroy, new Representative for Ohio’s 15th District, who will NEVER AGAIN get my vote.)

Why coffins? Why in the middle of Georgia?

Well, apparently the Government is expecting a half million people to die relatively soon, and the Atlanta Airport is a major airline traffic hub, probably the biggest in the country, which means Georgia is a prime base to conduct military operations and coordination. It is also the home of the CDC, the Center for Disease Control. I don’t want to alarm anyone, but usually you don’t buy 500,000 plastic coffins “just in case something happens,” you buy them because you know something is going to happen. These air tight seal containers would be perfect to bury victims of plague or biological warfare in, wouldn’t they?

Coincidence or art imitating life? The slow downward spiral towards fascism grabs some fast momentum with a bit of slight-of-hand propaganda from the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight.

The recent push towards open martial law in Chicago is an eerie reflection of The Dark Knight production, which filmed many of its Gotham scenes in downtown Chicago last summer. In the film, the Joker (Heath Ledger) creates so much chaos and violence that the National Guard (Gotham National Guard) is brought in to suppress riots and restore order.

During filming, extras were dressed up as national guard troops were seen by many Chicago natives acting in scenes and also providing ’security’ for the civilian extras during takes. Military helicopters, armored vehicles and hundreds of uniformed extras maneuvered in downtown Chicago for several days while their scenes were filmed, creating the atmosphere, albeit a fictional one, of open martial law and military code of conduct for all citizens.

The victim, now 19, whom the Independent on Sunday has agreed to identify only as Hassan, says he was rounded up with a friend while trying to steal milk cartons from a food distribution centre. After years of insisting the fillings are safe, the US government’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a health warning about them. It represents a landmark victory for campaigners, who say the fillings are responsible for a range of ailments, including heart conditions and Alzheimer’s disease.

Earlier this month, in an unprecedented U-turn, the FDA dropped much of its reassuring language on the fillings from its website, substituting: “Dental amalgams contain mercury, which may have neurotoxic effects on the nervous systems of developing children and foetuses.” It adds that when amalgam fillings are “placed in teeth or removed they release mercury vapour”, and that the same thing happens when chewing.

The FDA is now reviewing its rules and may end up restricting or banning the use of the metal.

Just two days ago, Gordon Brown was urging us all to stop wasting food and combat rising prices and a global shortage of provisions.

But yesterday the Prime Minister and other world leaders sat down to an 18-course gastronomic extravaganza at a G8 summit in Japan, which is focusing on the food crisis.

The dinner, and a six-course lunch, at the summit of leading industrialised nations on the island of Hokkaido, included delicacies such as caviar, milkfed lamb, sea urchin and tuna, with champagne and wines flown in from Europe and the U.S.
