Parents Using Facebook to Trade Viruses In the Mail to Infect Their Children

Right, because you’re “afraid” of vaccines, let’s deliberately put pathogens in the mail. Reports KPHO CBS 5 News:

PHOENIX — Doctors and medical experts are concerned about a new trend taking place on Facebook.

Parents are trading live viruses through the mail in order to infect their children. The Facebook group is called “Find a Pox Party in Your Area.” According to the group’s page, it is geared toward “parents who want their children to obtain natural immunity for the chicken pox.”

On the page, parents post where they live and ask if anyone with a child who has the chicken pox would be willing to send saliva, infected lollipops or clothing through the mail. Parents also use the page to set up play dates with children who currently have chicken pox. Medical experts say the most troubling part of this is parents are taking pathogens from complete strangers and deliberately infecting their children.

Imagine a vaccine against smoking: People trying to quit would light up a cigarette and feel nothing. Or a vaccine against cocaine, one that would prevent addicts from enjoying the drug’s high.

Though neither is imminent, both are on the drawing board, as are vaccines to combat other addictions. While scientists have historically focused their vaccination efforts on diseases like polio, smallpox and diphtheria — with great success — they are now at work on shots that could one day release people from the grip of substance abuse.

“We view this as an alternative or better way for some people,” said Dr. Kim D. Janda, a professor at the Scripps Research Institute who has made this his life’s work. “Just like with nicotine patches and the gum, all those things are just systems to get people off the drugs.”

Dr. Janda, a gruff-talking chemist, has been trying for more than 25 years to create such a vaccine. Like shots against disease, these vaccines would work by spurring the immune system to produce antibodies that would shut down the narcotic before it could take root in the body, or in the brain.

Unlike preventive vaccines — like the familiar ones for mumps, measles and so on — this type of injection would be administered after someone had already succumbed to an addictive drug. For instance, cocaine addicts who had been vaccinated with one of Dr. Janda’s formulations before they snorted cocaine reported feeling like they’d used “dirty coke,” he said. “They felt like they were wasting their money.”

It’s a novel use for vaccines that has placed Dr. Janda, who is 54, in the vanguard of addiction treatment. Because addiction is now thought to cause physical changes in the brain, doctors increasingly advocate medical solutions to America’s drug problem, leading to renewed interest in his work…

Medical Industry Claims Vaccines Do Not Cause Autism Or Diabetes

After analyzing over 1,000 research papers, a report issued by the IOM (Institute of Medicine) found no evidence linking vaccines to autism or type 1 diabetes risk, and very few other health problems caused or clearly linked to vaccines. According to a committee of experts who reviewed the scientific studies, convincing evidence was found of 14 health outcomes associated with vaccines, including fainting, brain inflammation and seizures, however, their occurrences were found to be very rare.

Some less clear data linking certain vaccines to four other effects, including temporary joint pain and allergic reactions were also found. Regarding other suggested adverse effects, the experts said there was inadequate data.

The IOM says that this review will help the HHS administer the VICP (Vaccine Injury Compensation Program), which depends on science-based evidence when deciding on vaccine-related side effects. The HHS (Department of Health and Human Services) asked the IOM for a comprehensive review on eight vaccines covered by VICP.

The HHS says the findings of the review are helpful for VICP staff, special masters that rule on vaccine cases, those filing claims, and others.

MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) vaccine – some people may have seizures caused by fever. In virtually all cases, the effect was temporary and without long-term consequences. Very rarely, those with severe immune deficiencies may develop a form of brain inflammation. Some women and children may experience short-term pain.

Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine – in rare cases some people may have brain swelling, pneumonia, meningitis, shingles, and hepatitis, and also chickenpox if the patient has a weakened immune system.

Anaphylaxis – this is an allergic reaction. Anaphylaxis can occur shortly after receiving the MMR, Varicella, influenza, hepatitis B, meningococcal, and the tetanus-containing vaccines (all injections). The HPV vaccine may trigger anaphylaxis in some patients.

The report also explained that vaccines in general can cause some individuals to faint, while others may develop inflammation of the shoulder. Some evidence points towards four other adverse events with some vaccines, however, the evidence is not compelling, the authors explained…

Universal Flu Vaccine

Any time a new government-endorsed vaccine is suggested for an entire population there are those who will raise suspicions as to motivation. I’m sure this new “one size fits all” flu vaccine will be no different. From USA Today:

A universal flu vaccine that protects against all strains may be within reach in the next five years, replacing annual shots developed for specifics flu viruses, the chief of the National Institutes of Health predicts.

Francis Collins told USA TODAY’s Editorial Board on Tuesday that he is “guardedly optimistic” about development of a long-term shot to replace the one “you’d have to renew every year.”

About 200,000 people are hospitalized with the flu every year, and an estimated 3,000 to 49,000 die, making the flu one of the chief causes of preventable death in the USA.

Collins cited the long-term flu shot in a wide-ranging discussion of many advances coming from NIH research. Amid budget debates now underway in Washington, D.C. that could also trim NIH’s $31billion budget, he made the case for research investments that improve the nation’s health.

A universal flu vaccine “seemed completely out of reach only a few years ago,” Collins said. That’s because flu viruses mutate yearly, causing small changes in surface coatings, which make old vaccines obsolete.

Recently however, scientists have found “there are parts of the viral coat that don’t change …. If you designed a vaccine to go after the constant part of the virus, you’d be protected against all strains,” Collins said.

A universal flu vaccine is “not a question of whether, but when,” says Arnold Monto, of the University of Michigan…

Donors Pledge $4.3 Billion For Child Vaccinations In Poor Nations

International donors led by Britain and Bill Gates pledged $4.3 billion on Monday to buy vaccines to protect children in poor countries against potential killers such as diarrheal diseases and pneumonia.

“But every 20 seconds, a child still dies of a vaccine-preventable disease. There’s more work to be done.”

The funding should allow more than 250 million of the world’s poorest children to be vaccinated by 2015, helping to prevent more than four million premature deaths, the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation (GAVI) said.

“Today is an important moment in our collective commitment to protecting children in developing countries from disease,” said Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, who attended the pledging conference in London.

Measles Outbreak Linked to Anti-Vaccination Movement

The Seattle Times reports upon a recent measles outbreak in Minneapolis traced local Somalis fearful of a purported link between the MMR vaccine and autism. Andrew Wakefield himself has arrived on the scene. His 1998 study linking the MMR to a new syndrome dubbed “autistic enterocolitis” has since been retracted by the Lancet amid allegations of fraud, and his medical license has been revoked.

As CNN reports, Wakefield expected to earn as much as $43 million/year in revenue from “litigation driven testing” for autistic enterocolitis, a test for which he holds a potentially lucrative patent, and received more than $674,000 “from lawyers trying to build a case against vaccine manufacturers.”

Health officials struggling to contain a measles outbreak that’s hit hard in Minneapolis’ large Somali community are running into resistance from parents who fear the vaccine could give their children autism.

Fourteen confirmed measles cases have been reported in Minnesota since February. Half have been in Somali children, six of whom were not vaccinated and one who was not old enough for shots. State officials have linked all but one case to an unvaccinated Somali infant who returned from a trip to Kenya in February.

The state had reported zero or one case of measles a year for most of the past decade.

Amid the outbreak, a now-discredited British researcher who claimed there was a link between vaccines and autism has been meeting with local Somalis. Some worry Andrew Wakefield is stoking fears, but organizers say the meetings were merely a chance for parents to ask him questions.

“Unfortunately a lot of the media thinks he’s saying ‘Don’t get vaccinated.’ That’s far from the truth. He’s basically encouraging people to get vaccinated but do your homework and know the risks,” said Wayne Rohde, a co-founder of the Vaccine Safety Council of Minnesota, which says parents should have other options for immunizing their children.

Measles has been all but eradicated in the United States but accounts for about 200,000 annual deaths worldwide, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. None of those infected in Minnesota have died, though eight have required hospitalization.

Over 2,000 Vaccinated Babies Dead: The Cost Of Doing Business

Earlier this month (March 2011), Japanese authorities ordered doctors to stop using pneumococcal and Hib vaccines because four children died after receiving the shots. However, the real news was never reported: more than 2,000 babies died in the United States after receiving vaccines for these very same diseases, yet authorities refuse to warn parents and halt production. A safety review is vital to determine whether a recall of the dangerous shots may be necessary to protect additional American babies from disability and death.

According to Paul Offit, media spokesperson for the vaccine industry, “the Japanese Ministry of Health was foolish to suspend the Hib and pneumococcal programs.” Offit thinks the deaths were probably caused by SIDS, or underlying conditions, or another cause – anything except the vaccines. Often, children get sick and die by chance.

William Schaffner, chairman of the department of medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, believes, like Offit, that the deaths are “most likely…a coincidence.” In a twist of irony, it may also be a coincidence that Schaffner receives money from vaccine manufacturers – whose stock prices traded lower after the announcement by Japan – for consulting and speaking about vaccines. Offit and Schaffner have never seen the dead children, nor have autopsies been conducted, so their assessments regarding the true cause of death are not based on science…

Doctor Who Linked Autism and Vaccines Is A ‘Fraud,’ Says British Medical Journal

Jenny McCarthy take note: Britain’s leading medical journal has declared that Andrew Wakefield’s discredited 1998 autism study was not merely riddled with errors, but was a case of deliberate, “elaborate fraud.” CNN reports:

A now-retracted British study that linked autism to childhood vaccines was an “elaborate fraud” that has done long-lasting damage to public health, a leading medical publication reported Wednesday.

An investigation published by the British medical journal BMJ concludes the study’s author, Dr. Andrew Wakefield, misrepresented or altered the medical histories of all 12 of the patients whose cases formed the basis of the 1998 study — and that there was “no doubt” Wakefield was responsible.

“It’s one thing to have a bad study, a study full of error, and for the authors then to admit that they made errors,” Fiona Godlee, BMJ’s editor-in-chief, told CNN. “But in this case, we have a very different picture of what seems to be a deliberate attempt to create an impression that there was a link by falsifying the data.”

Britain stripped Wakefield of his medical license in May. “Meanwhile, the damage to public health continues, fueled by unbalanced media reporting and an ineffective response from government, researchers, journals and the medical profession,” BMJ states in an editorial accompanying the work.

The now-discredited paper panicked many parents and led to a sharp drop in the number of children getting the vaccine that prevents measles, mumps and rubella. Vaccination rates dropped sharply in Britain after its publication, falling as low as 80% by 2004. Measles cases have gone up sharply in the ensuing years.

Scientists Develop A Vaccine For Stress

Is this a step on the path to a Brave New World? The head of a research team at Stanford says he is on the verge of producing a vaccine that would deactivate the brain’s stress-causing chemicals. For the first time, people could shut off the fight-or-flight mechanism that has determined our behavior (and helped ensure our survival) since the caveman era. Via CBS News:

Dr Robert Sapolsky, a neuroscience professor at Stanford, says after 30 years of studying stress, his team might be on the verge of a novel cure.

Sapolsky has long theorized that, unlike some animals, humans are unable to turn off stress chemicals used for the fight-or-flight mechanism. A class of hormone called glucocorticoids are one of the chief offenders, according to Sapolsky.

So his team has pioneered a way to bootstrap a “herpes virus to carry engineered ‘neuroprotective’ genes deep into the brain to neutralize the rogue hormones before they can cause damage.”

So far, rat studies have gone well, according to the British paper. Human trials are still years away.

New Vaccine ‘Could Eliminate’ Breast Cancer

Too good to be true? From Murdoch-owned Fox/Sky News:

U.S. scientists developed a vaccine that could prevent breast cancer and save the lives of millions of women, Sky News reported Monday.

The treatment was tested on mice and showed “overwhelmingly favorable results.”

Dr. Vincent Tuohy, who led the research at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, said there was evidence in the initial tests that the vaccine could prevent cancers from forming and stop the growth of existing tumors.

“If it works in humans the way it works in mice, this will be monumental,” he said.

“We could eliminate breast cancer. We believe that this vaccine will someday be used to prevent breast cancer in adult women in the same way that vaccines have prevented many childhood diseases.”

Researchers injected the test vaccine into six mice that were specifically bred to be prone to breast cancer. None developed any signs of tumors.

A further six mice bred in the same way were injected with a placebo vaccine and all developed tumors.

The drug makes the immune system attack a particular protein found in most breast cancer cells and in the mammary tissues of breastfeeding women.

If clinical tests of the vaccine on humans are successful, women over 40 could be vaccinated against the disease. At that age, breast cancer risk begins to increase and women are less likely to be breastfeeding.

Here’s a study to file under “unworkable but very cool.” A group of Japanese researchers has developed a mosquito that spreads vaccine instead of disease. Even the researchers admit, however, that regulatory and ethical problems will prevent the critters from ever taking wing — at least for the delivery of human vaccines.

Scientists have dreamed up various ways to tinker with insects’ DNA to fight disease. One option is to create strains of mosquitoes that are resistant to infections with parasites or viruses, or that are unable to pass the pathogens on to humans. These would somehow have to replace the natural, disease-bearing mosquitoes, which is a tall order. Another strategy closer to becoming reality is to release transgenic mosquitoes that, when they mate with wild-type counterparts, don’t produce viable offspring. That would shrink the population over time.

The new study relies on a very different mechanism: Use mosquitoes to become what the scientists call “flying vaccinators.” Normally, when mosquitoes bite, they inject a tiny drop of saliva that prevents the host’s blood from clotting. The Japanese group decided to add an antigen-a compound that triggers an immune response-to the mix of proteins in the insect’s saliva.

Only Some Conspiracy Theories Welcome at Huffington Post

Have to agree, the Huffington Post loves to embrace all sort of crazy pseudoscientific theories about your health, but has a problem with this post from Jesse Ventura. (You can read the Ventura post on InfoWars.) Alex Pareene writes on Gawker:

The Huffington Post removed a 9/11 “Truther” post from former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura. According to their editor’s note, “The Huffington Post’s editorial policy, laid out in our blogger guidelines, prohibits the promotion and promulgation of conspiracy theories….” Oh, really?

Because today, the very same Huffington Post published this wonderful post from dangerous nutcase Jenny McCarthy about how autism is caused by vaccines and can be cured with experimental treatments that the established medical community doesn’t want you to know about. We can only assume that as soon as the editors discover this conspiratorial nonsense, they will promptly remove it.

The fun thing about Jenny McCarthy’s conspiracy is that if it catches on enough, it will literally lead to the death of children. Trutherism just makes you really annoying!

It’s not only Huffington Post who gives the former Playboy playmate lip service, ABC News was willing to seek a medical opinion from her. Even if you disagree with Ventura’s claims on 9/11 (and I am in that camp), Ventura is not saying he is qualified to dispense an engineering analysis, or even claiming he is 100% right about his conclusions.

Bill Gates – ‘We Can Lower the Population Through Vaccines’

Two short excerpts from a recently filmed TED presentation (Feb 2010) by none other than Bill “Microsoft” Gates.

At the heart of Gates’ address lies the central Global Warming dogma, which dictates that Co2 emitted by human beings are the primary culprit for the unwanted heating of the globe. Since this artificial alleged human-induced heating effect allegedly stands to devastate the planet if left unabated, Global Warming dogma proponents therefore argue that human Co2 emissions must be drastically reduced. As Gates casually addresses the issue, he goes on to state that one way to accomplish this goal is to reduce the global human population.

He postulates the central equation, giving an estimation of the humanly emitted C02 load per year, to be:

Co2 = P times S times E times C

Where P stands for the population number, S the average number of services per person, E the average amount of energy units per service, and C the average Co2 emitted load per unit of service, per year; Co2 stands for the projected total humanly emitted carbon-dioxide load by the entire population per year.

In the first clip you will hear him state in plain language that he considers VACCINES to be desirable to bring down the population number P and so reduce Co2. You will also casually hear him promoting HEALTH CARE and REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH SERVICES, to accomplish that same C02 reducing goal.

Here are Bill Gates’ verbatim words:
“The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s heading up to about nine billion. Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent.”

Hence Gates shows to consider vaccines desirable for the purpose of curbing population numbers. What kind of properties can thus reasonably be deduced, vaccines are to have according to Gates? Basically all the properties that impede people to either have children, or rear them. In other words, Gates implicitly advocates a definition of his favorite kind of vaccine to be able to induce infertility, sterility and (early onset) senility (autism) alike. Note that Gates does not mention a word on the much touted purported intention of vaccines: to offer protection against relevant diseases and therefore as such, precisely prolong life. Quite the humanitarian huh?

In the second excerpt you hear Gates explain what he considers to be the single most important thing that he would choose to see become a reality in the future time span of 50 years. He again confirms his “love” for the vaccine.

Thousands Of Americans Died From H1N1 Even After Receiving Vaccine shots

The CDC is engaged in a very clever, statistically devious spin campaign, and nearly every journalist in the mainstream media has fallen for its ploy. No one has yet reported what I’m about to reveal here.

It all started with the CDC’s recent release of new statistics about swine flu fatalities, infection rates and vaccination rates. According to the CDC:

• 61 million Americans were vaccinated against swine flu (about 20% of the U.S. population). The CDC calls this a “success” even though it means 4 out of 5 people rejected the vaccines.

• 55 million people “became ill” from swine flu infections.

• 246,000 Americans were hospitalized due to swine flu infections.

• 11,160 Americans died from the swine flu.

Base on these statistics, the CDC is now desperately urging people to get vaccinated because they claim the pandemic might come back and vaccines are the best defense.

But here’s the part you’re NOT being told.

The CDC statistics lie by omission. They do not reveal the single most important piece of information about H1N1 vaccines: How many of the people who died from the swine flu had already been vaccinated?

Many who died had already been vaccinated

The CDC is intentionally not tracking how many of the dead were previously vaccinated. They want you (and mainstream media journalists) to mistakenly believe that ZERO deaths occurred in those who were vaccinated. But this is blatantly false. Being vaccinated against H1N1 swine flu offers absolutely no reduction in mortality from swine flu infections.

And that means roughly 20% of the 11,160 Americans who died from the swine flu were probably already vaccinated against swine flu. That comes to around 2,200 deaths in people who were vaccinated!

How do I know that swine flu vaccines don’t reduce infection mortality? Because I’ve looked through…

Joseph Moshe Arrested For Predicting Baxter Bioweapon Outbreak

It’s got so bad that no-one may now trust government sources or even the WHO.

Some have speculated that mass genocide is the ultimate aim. Nothing in this story contradicts that possibility. There have been accusations that Baxter has released deliberately virulent organisms, designed to reduce the Earth’s population. Nothing said or done by Baxter gives any reassurance that this could not be true!

The specter of a scientist who criticized Baxter being gassed, tazed and dragged from his vehicle on the streets of Los Angeles is hard to accept, in any terms. The US is under marshal law in all but name.

Most Britons Reject Swine Flu Vaccine

Do the British know something Americans don’t? From Reuters:

More than half of Britons being offered vaccination against pandemic H1N1 flu are turning it down because they fear side-effects or think the virus is too mild to bother, a survey of doctors showed on Wednesday.

Many of the 107 family doctors polled by Britain’s Pulse magazine said there was widespread resistance from patients and on average only 46 percent of those offered the vaccination agree to have it.

Doctors reported particular difficulties in persuading pregnant women to be vaccinated against the virus, according to Pulse, a trade newspaper for doctors.

“In all the pregnant women we’ve offered it to, I think only about one in 20 has agreed,” Dr Chris Udenze, a family doctor based in Nottingham, central England, said in the survey.

Skepticism has been growing in Britain and other European countries about health authorities’ handling of the H1N1 pandemic because the number of people infected has been lower than originally feared…

The AP reports (question: why is it that vaccines are suddenly front page news every day?):

Malaria. Tuberculosis. Alzheimer’s disease. AIDS. Pandemic flu. Genital herpes. Urinary tract infections. Grass allergies. Traveler’s diarrhea. You name it, the pharmaceutical industry is working on a vaccine to prevent it.

Many could be on the market in five years or less.

Contrast that with five years ago, when so many companies had abandoned the vaccine business that half the U.S. supply of flu shots was lost because of factory contamination at one of the two manufacturers left.

Vaccines are no longer a sleepy, low-profit niche in a booming drug industry. Today, they’re starting to give ailing pharmaceutical makers a shot in the arm.

The lure of big profits, advances in technology and growing government support has been drawing in new companies, from nascent biotechs to Johnson & Johnson. That means recent remarkable strides in overcoming dreaded diseases and annoying afflictions likely will continue…

Swine Flu Nun Mired In Abortion Rights Controversy

We recently ran a story about Teresa Forcades, the doctor and nun at the monastery of Sant-Benet, in Monserra-Barcelona, Spain, with her clear and informative video about the origins of H1N1 flu. The story and video were very popular and many sites linked to it, including Spirit Daily, a religious site. But Spirit Daily is very much against abortion, and decided that the Sister’s pro-choice comments made her persona non grata on their site. Now they’re rethinking that dogmatic decision:

We removed a video she made — circulated on YouTube — when we learned that despite the holy monastic setting of Montserrat (one of the world’s oldest sites of Marian devotion), and despite her scientific credentials, as well as her calm manner of presentation, Sister Forcades had spoken publicly in favor of a woman’s “right” to terminate a pregnancy. That had occurred during Spain’s recent national debate on abortion and drew a rebuke from Cardinal Franc Rodé, prefect for the Vatican’s Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, who, we learned, had sent a letter to her abbess demanding that Sister Forcades conform to Church doctrine.

In our view, the fact that Sister Forcades held a pro-choice position compromised the trust we could place in her judgment of other matters — including what she had to say about swine flu. She is author of The Crimes of the Great Pharmaceutical Companies, a book that denounces the political and economic power acquired by the drug corporations. Thus, when it comes to “Big Pharma” (as the pharmaceutical giants are known), she is not entirely objective.

But to many, what the nun-physician had to say was galvanizing — leading to a flurry of e-mails requesting and even demanding for us to repost the video. For in a low-key, methodical, and scientific manner, she mirrored what others in the “alternative media” have been asserting, some with legitimate concerns, some with questionable facts, which we will now endeavor to explore: that something unusual is afoot in recent epidemics and vaccinations.

The swine-flu “pandemic,” charges the nun, is exaggerated and might lead to vaccination with materials that are potentially more dangerous than the flu itself. Included in her concerns is an additive or “adjuvant” called squalene, which she says was also an additive in the vaccine suspected of causing illness among soldiers in the first Gulf War. There are also trace amounts of formaldehyde or a compound called thimerosal (which contains mercury). Some believe such compounds have led to allergies and even autism in children given other kinds of vaccines. Thus far, pointed out Sister Forcades, swine flu has a lower mortality than regular seasonal flu, and the questions she raised: why, if it has a low mortality rate, has it been declared such an “emergency”? Why has there been the rush to protect the public with an untested vaccine? …

Has Baxter International Released a New Biological Weapon in the Ukraine?

Evidence appears to suggest that Baxter International is responsible for a new deadly outbreak of viral pneumonia in Ukraine.

In February of 2009 Bloomberg reported that Baxter “accidentally” send vaccine material containing both live Avian bird flu and seasonal influenza to multiple laboratories worldwide. A laboratory decided to test the vaccine on it’s ferrets, but the ferrets all unexpectedly died. It must be noted that Baxter has made a “mistake” like this before. Blood products produced by Baxter once containd HIV. Thousands of haemophiliacs died due to this, and many went on to infect their spouses.

Later in the year, a bizarre story emerged on the internet. The Huffington Post reported on a a man named Joseph Moshe who was arrested after a hours long standoff with the police because he had supposedly made threats against the White House. The man was able to withstand multiple rounds of tear gas.

However, the internet community was very skeptical of the true reasons behidn this man’s arrest. Comments on the Huffington Post website immediately began pouring in about an unreported side to this story, namely that Joseph Moshe was a Mossad Agent specialized in biological warfare who called into a radio show to warn people about a biological weapn that was being made by Baxter international that would be spread through vaccine and would cause a plague upon it’s release…

Switzerland Forbids “Swine Flu” Vaccine For Pregnant Women, Young And Old!

Swissmedic, the authority in Switzerland that gives permission for the use of drugs, today announced that the “swine flu” vaccine Pandemrix will not be allowed to be injected into pregnant women, children or young adults (below 18 years of age) or elderly (above 60 years of age). The very same vaccine is now injected through an unprecedented mass vaccination campaign into hundreds of thousands if not millions of people in Sweden. No restrictions are made in Sweden and the authorities there express surprise about the Swiss decision. “There is no reason to make such a decision here in Sweden”, says Jan liliemark, a professor working for the national Medical Products Agency. The many deaths so far in Sweden from this vaccine are “still under investigation”.

Unfortunately, the people of Switzerland will still be injected with the deadly adjuvant squalene and the mercury thiomersal through another “swine flu” vaccine, namely the poisonous Focetria.

Focetria is being approved because the EMEA have approved it for the EU. It will be given to children from the age of six months and adults.

Celtura has been tested and according to earlier reports, it is contaminated with dog viruses and bacteria. It is still waiting to receive permission to be injected in the Swiss population.

Among significant developments:

August 2008 — The New York Times reports that measles cases in the first seven months of 2008 grew at the fastest rate in more than a decade.

October, 2008 — The first national survey of Americans’ attitudes towards autism reveals that nearly one in four people (24 percent) feel that because vaccines may cause autism, it is safer not to vaccinate children. Another 19 percent are not sure.

Swine Flu Shots Revive a Debate About Vaccines

Well it may be a little late to the party, but the Gray Lady is finally acknowledging that there are many, many Americans who don’t trust their government’s massive propaganda campaign to promote swine flu (H1N1) vaccine as being “safe.” Needless to say, of course, the anti-vaccine crowd are portrayed as madcap conspiracy theorists, but nonetheless it’s significant that the debate has reached the front page of the New York Times:

People who do not believe in vaccinating children have never had much sway over Leslie Wygant Arndt. She has studied the vaccine debate, she said, and came out in favor of having her 10-month-old daughter inoculated against childhood diseases. But there is something different about the vaccine for the H1N1 flu, she said.

“I have looked at the people who are against it, and I find myself taking their side,” said Ms. Wygant Arndt, who lives in Portland, Ore. “But then again I go back and forth on this every day. It’s an emotional topic.”

Anti-vaccinators, as they are often referred to by scientists and doctors, have toiled for years on the margins of medicine. But an assemblage of factors around the swine flu vaccine — including confusion over how it was made, widespread speculation about whether it might be more dangerous than the virus itself, and complaints among some health care workers in New York about a requirement that they be vaccinated — is giving the anti-vaccine movement a fresh airing, according to health experts.

“Nationally right now there is a tremendous amount of attention on this vaccine,” said Dr. Thomas Farley, the New York City health commissioner. That focus has given vaccine opponents “an opportunity to speak out publicly and get their message amplified that they didn’t have at other times,” he said…

Jane Bergermeister, The Flu Whistleblower

David and Goliath might be an appropriate title for this video. Because Jane Bürgermeister, as a committed Christian, possesses an almost unreasonable amount of courage in her single-handed stand – against what many perceive as being a giant that few people are equipped to fight.

Jane is a young woman living in Vienna who, while working as a medical editor, was horrified to learn in early 2009 of the fiasco in which a Baxter International research facility in Orth-Donau, Austria, sent a quantity of human H3N2 viral material to 18 European laboratories.

Such a supply of experimental material would have been totally normal – except that in this instance the H3N2 had been somehow contaminated with live H5N1… the far more lethal Avian Flu.

As a medical editor, Jane immediately realized the import of what had happened – and what had nearly happened – and raised the alarm. But no-one in the Austrian media was interested. She then took matters into her own hands and filed legal charges against those who she considered the perpetrators to be.

Very soon after, Jane was dismissed from her job without explanation…

New York Institutes Mandatory Swine Flu Vaccination

Well we knew it was coming, but as a New Yorker this scares the crap out of me. If they try to enforce it on me or my family (yes, one of us is a health care worker) I’m moving. See the story in Newsday:

Despite a planned rally in Albany Tuesday to protest a state regulation requiring health care workers be vaccinated against influenza — both seasonal and swine flu — New York’s top public health official predicts dissenters will ultimately extinguish their anger and roll up their sleeves.

The regulation, which was approved in August, comes with a stinging addendum: Get vaccinated or get fired.

But some nurses and many other health care providers say the regulation violates their personal freedom and leaves them vulnerable to vaccine injury. And they cite deaths associated with the last federal government swine-flu vaccination program in 1976.

British Girl Dies After Vaccination

Adding fuel to the fire that has been growing as a result of rumors of government-mandated swine flu vaccination, the “vaccines are poisons” crowd will surely jump on this. The question I have is more along the lines of do vaccines do more harm than good? It would be such a large violation of the Hypocratic Oath that I really find it hard to believe that all doctors advising their patients to take the vaccine would be blind to a nefarious New World Order conspiracy to wipe out or dumb down the population. Thoughts anyone?

LONDON — An urgent investigation was under way on Tuesday after a 14-year-old school girl collapsed and died after being vaccinated against cervical cancer.
The girl, who was named as Natalie Morton, died on Monday shortly after being injected with the Cervarix vaccine at the Blue Coat CofE school in Coventry.
The vaccine, which is made by pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline, is being administered to schoolgirls as part of a national vaccination programme to protect against the disease.
Health authorities immediately isolated the suspect batch of vaccine which protects against Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a sexually-transmitted virus which is the primary cause of cervical cancer.
